I know that there was a moment when I was turning into one of those angry social justice types, until I had a disagreement with one of them, and she turned against me. Now that I've stepped back, I feel bad about letting myself get filled with a well-intentioned but ultimately angry agenda.

ok another thing i hate about tumblr is how the whole 'social justice' thing has boiled down to nothing but a joke and thats made it so hard to find a middle ground in relation to dealing with the issues they take on.

yes there are a few shitty people who ise SJ as an excuse to be an asshole to people but for every one of then there are about 100 teen bloggers who think theyre the shit for saying "hahahahahaha wow hey social JuSTiCe bogger did i trigger ur jimmies" to anyone who finds something offensive and I actually tend to find that MORE irritating and shitty than the former. whatever side you defend, if you do so blindly without considering anyone else in the situation, youre doing something shitty
