Wesker is through and through a punk!
I don't trust Wesker at all. Who wears sunglasses at night during a zombie apocalypse?
I hate snakes!
Next game on my list...Resident Evil!
KH1 FM: The classic still holds up. Just the perfect combination of story, combat, and RPG. The Disney tie-in also makes the game feel more nostalgic. Only downside is the gummy missions. Those mechanics feel old and clunky.
Re:Chain of Memories: The card mechanic is interesting, but gets old quickly. The additional Riku story doesn't do much to add to the gameplay and can be quite frustrating. The trophies for this game were pretty annoying and boring.
KH2 FM: Huge upgrade in the series. The combat and RPG mechanics feel a bit less freeing and more boxy, but the post-game content and additional expansion of the gummy missions makeup for that.
BBS FM: Probably the most uneven of the games in the collection. Keeping in mind that this was originally set up for the PSP, the post-game content, especially the Mirage Arena, feel disconnected, gameplay wise, from the rest of the game. Additionally, having to complete the game 3 different times for each story, is SUCH A DRAG...
Overall, I give the collection 7/10. The different mechanics introduced by each game are fun enough to keep things interesting. Still, the story starts to get convoluted, and having only the Re:coded and 358/2 Days cinematics definitely leaves more to be desired.
Accidental badass shot of me on the cusp of beating Data Replica Axel.
This game is heavy on the story and light on the action...
More KH2 adventures.
Some of my KH2 adventures. This game is heavy on the story and light on the combat, so far.
Saved by the king.
This prologue was LONG!
RIP Roxas! The story for the Nobodies' has been super depressing, even for the villains. They're supposed to be husks of someone's remaining body, but they all mimic some type of deep emotion.
And we've made it to KH2.
Riku's tale SUCKS!
Don't trust this ugly bitch!
Started playing Chain of Memories over the weekend. Let's just say...I FREAKING HATE CARDS!
Idk if this is controversial or not, but Xion's story arc is so unnecessary. Maybe cause 358/2 Days is just cinematics vs a remake, so I might be missing context, but it all felt SUPER pointless. Especially cause they truly forgot about her! Wish it were a remake.
