Battle Tapes, 'Valkyrie' | Antiquiet

LA’s Battle Tapes’ upcoming debut LP Polygon is a long time coming. They’ve been getting a lot of mileage from two EPs released so far, Sleepwalker and Sweatshop Boys, with tracks appearing in Grand Theft Auto V, the Need For Speed movie, and a bunch of TV shows. They took a key slot at our SXSW showcase last year, converting followers over to their cult of unique, live band-backed synth rock with shit like this mashup of Eminem & Nate Dogg’s Shake That into their song Graveyard Shift. Polygon follows increasingly powerful live shows around Los Angeles, and a soon-to-be expanded west coast tour. Ever since we heard it, we’ve been ready put them on all of your radars in a big way, and this first single Valkyrie is just the first taste. Via Crave fashion magazine.
