Niagara Falls - virtual tutorial from UK-based artist Matthew Palmer www.WatercolorTV
Been working on this "off and on" for a few weeks now. It's from a "printable worksheet" developed by UK-based artist Matthew Palmer, and is available with a membership at WatercolorTV.com
Digital watercolor using Rebelle 3 software. Used a tracing layer for the sketch, masking layer for the ruins and the stone wall, and separate layers for each aspect of the painting - i.e. hills, river, stones, grasses, etc. Could use more grasses but a stylus isn't quite the same a tree and texture brush, LOL!!
Digital painting based on a virtual workshop taught by UK-based artist Matthew Palmer using Rebelle 3 digital paint software.
Litha (June Soltice) beannaichte!!
I’ve been painting along with several virtual workshops taught by UK artist Matthew Palmer - www.watercolortv.com This was today’s project.
I've been trying to work on smaller canvasses so that I can use up a 4 x 8 Fluid watercolor pad that I bought awhile ago. I lack both the skill and the small brushes to actually make this work. I walked away from this one several times but finally sat myself down and finished it.
This is from a Louise de Masi tutorial. I snapped a pic with the original outline for the tutorial to give some perspective on the size difference.
