Seb: That sounds super fun to say - And I was raised in the city, so I'm kind of obsessed with clear skies -
Justin: You'd love the skies in Canada, then. Not always the city areas but it's always really easy to get out and find rural areas. They're amazing. When I visit my parents in the summer, between semesters, I like to take Avalon out at night where the stars are just so bright and easy to see. It's too cold to do that with her in the winter, though.

Justin: Um, well, the last time I saw Serena in person she felt like she wished we'd never had Avalon, that we'd aborted her. Didn't want anything more to do with her and really resented her. If I hadn't insisted that the one thing I wanted from her was to keep in minimal contact, I don't think we would have even heard from her at all since then.

I’m so relieved. That could have been so much worse.
Mhm! Easy fixes. He got his shot for the infection and an inhaler to help him if he has future attacks. We should definitely take the vet’s tips, though. No chemical air fresheners, find an unscented litter, keep the place dust free, and make sure he’s not outside when there’s lots of pollen. His walkies will need to stay indoors during the spring.
And we can do all of that. His poor little lungs will never have to see a spot of dust again.
