therapy has taught me that i don’t know who i am and i’m afraid to be it anyway and that it’s not hopeless but it’s reality and i need to get out of bed and get things done but i’m having a lot of trouble today doing just that

my brother came to philly tonight, and we hung out kinda hard and had a lot of nice beer and both spent too much money, and he gets married next weekend, and it’s going to be a very nice time.

the valley seems to be a pretty big trigger for my anxiety / i just drove around aimlessly for forty-five minutes because i was afraid to get out of my car :-/

1. almost cried listening to slayer on thursday because I was so happy that I can still listen to slayer 2. found myself singing, "it's so nice to not be dead" around my mom's house this morning
