I love when mindy slaps people, especially danny, it’s just so funny and I also love the running gag of all the random shit in her bed and I love when she lays on the floor bc biggest mood ever
The first time Mindy laid on the floor, I immediately understand why. The floor is such a comforting place to be when you’re in a crisis.
the mindy project is definitely a rewatch
I was just thinking about watching it again!? It’s been too long… and by too long, I mean two months lol.
mindy & danny had so much potential oh my god
I completely agree. They could have been so much more than what they were, but I have to admit that I can appreciate them still having regular relationship problems. They aren’t glossing over their problems like some TV couples do. Their problems took time and because of this, they were never able to reach the full potential of their relationship.
the slowburn of janine and gregory vs. the slowburn of ava becoming a competent and passionate educator
This is a very real feeling. I don’t even know how to feel about either of these, but I’m here for both.
So no one talks about Jeremy all that much, but he was definitely a main character. I liked him because he didn't go along with Mindy's storyline. He always had his own thing going on, and when Mindy wasn't in the picture or she was doing something during the time jump, it was easy to have someone fill that space because Jeremy was always there. I also liked him because he was a completely opposite person from Danny. If you follow my posts enough, you know that I love all things Danny, with or without Mindy, but he was definitely different from Jeremy... and I loved that. Jeremy brought diversity to the show. From the British accent to the constant sexual experiences, Jeremy was a good character.
Mindy is our favorite.
Okay, so unpopular opinion... Josh is my favorite ex boyfriend. A lot of people are quick to say Casey is their favorite because him and Mindy had a clean and "easy" break up, while everything about Mindy and Josh's break up was problematic. I totally get that, but Josh is my favorite because he wasn't asking Mindy to change or put in too much effort for him. Mindy and Josh had a carefree relationship and I loved it, especially because it was the first relationship of the show. They were both just chilling and having fun with each other. Josh made sure Mindy was happy with him, even if the relationship didn't end beautifully. I love Josh because he did care about Mindy, he just didn't know how to show it without nabbing empty promises (hence the reason why he ends up apologizing to her later in the series). My point is I love Josh and he is my favorite ex because of who he was as a character and his personality... okay, and maybe I was entertained by the break up episode. It actually brought Mindy and Danny closer, which I am always happy about.

The Mindy Project as The Office
I love when I find highlights from their relationship.

My journey to loving myself was very time consuming and emotional. My advice to anyone trying to learn to love theirselves is just don't rush it. It doesn't always come naturally it's something you have to work at. Life is hard sometimes and knowing how to love yourself can make it just a little easier, but only if you give yourself time to truly develop that deep emotional connection with yourself.
Other people are just as flawed as you. Other people make just as many mistakes as you do. Other people struggle too. Other people fail too. Other people have regrets too. Other people have insecurities too. Just because it isn't always visible on the surface, that doesn't mean other people aren't just as human as you. So don't compare the surface of their lake to the complex depths of your inner ocean just because you can't always see what's hidden under said surface. I promise that you aren't the only one who's human in every definition of that word.

Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning and sometimes I feel like I'm floating. Most of the time I feel like I'm barely keeping my head above water.

SOME DAYS, IT COMES IN WAVES.
SOME DAYS, TSUNAMIS.
Some days are better than others, honestly.
Right now I feel absolutely nothing, and I’m not sure what scares me more. The feeling of emptiness or how incredibly intoxicating it is.
Just some 'food' for thought.
