Sophie Bone: Appears in flashbacks in S3 EP1 The Bone Plot and S5 EP4 En Francais. Humphrey's wife (not by choice). Tried to kill the queen, will not learn English and had a secret caveman ghost friend she didn't know about. No one is doing it like her.

I tried to include as many characters as possible so apologies if I missed your favourite minor character. I also decided not to include the plague ghosts because putting them all together felt like a major character and adding them individually would take up the whole bracket.

Be aware that there will be spoilers for season 5 of Ghosts including very minor ones for the Christmas special which will be tagged accordingly

All pairings were randomised.

Each poll will last 24 hours with one of each pairing being eliminated until a winner is found.

Round 2!

Thank you everyone who voted in the last round, the new polls will be up shortly.

Round 3 will be posted in the morning/midday on 1st January GMT rather than during the evening on 31st like the other because I am going out for New Years.

But first a tribute to some of our fallen contestants

Carol, Kylie and Florence who were pitted against Annie, Havers and Sophie respectively, they didn't stand a chance. Carol got the lowest percentage of the vote in her poll (3.4% though for a while it was 0%)

Barclay Beg-Chetwynde who despite having the most screentime of all the characters lost to Daley Butcher (35% to 65%). Luckily his wife and dogs have made it to Round 2 where they may avenge him.

Martin the wedding planner who somehow lost to a picture of Rachel Fawcett by quite a lot (32.2% vs 67.8%)

Cartwright (10%), Eleanor Higham (7.9%) and Francis Button (14.4%) who were all absolutely eviscerated in their respective polls, apologies to all my villain lovers.

Pat Junior was the closest loser losing to Nicholas 49.5% to 50.5%.

As always some stats from the last round

The character with the lowest percentage of the vote in their poll was Morris with 8% while the highest was the solicitor was 48.5% though Nicholas was close behind with 48.4%.

My condolences to Keith Darren Dean (28.3%) and Isabelle Higham (43.2%) who lost to a pigeon and a taxidermy bear respectively.

The only members of the Beg-Chetwynde family to make it through to round three are the dogs. They are one of three non human characters to make it into this round (the others being bear grills and the pigeon).

Only eight characters left!! In celebration of round 4 I have replaced my grainy screenshots with higher quality promo pics where applicable which is probably what I should have done in the first place but we're here now.

The pigeon got the lowest percentage of the vote with 17.6% while Sophie's nursemaid got the highest with 47.4%

All the unnamed characters have now been eliminated alongside all the non human ones besides Bear Grills.
