Have you had a look at the series "the world's most extraordinary homes"? if so what was your highlight from this show? If not have you ever seen the "Wing House" in the Santa Monica mountains?

The 747 Wing House by David Hertz is a very successful solution to the challenge posed by the client, thinking outside the box, to resolve a  roof structure that would allow for a un-obstructed view of the mountain range and distant views with curvilinear/feminine shapes.
