Ok not technically a confession but wondering, why did Al and Brian say on the Christmas show that that was the first live performance of Merry Christmas Baby when there's a video on youtube of Al playing the song at a show. Somethings fishy, hmm...
Since it's not really a confession, I'll just throw it out there for the followers to debate. My guess is it was probably the first time that multiple Beach Boys joined together to play it, if the YouTube video is just Al playing it at one of his shows, or the Beach Boys Family & Friends, etc. (I obviously haven't seen the video; it's just a guess!)
