Ju Fufu was the one to greet him at the entrance as Yixuan watched the traveller from a distance. Shifu and her disciples had only just returned to the temple. Restoration hadn't even begun yet, and the kitchens were still being cleaned and being readied for use once more. She was certain Pan Yinhu would handle that with ease and care.
"Hello!" Fufu greeted. "You look like you've come from far away. Is there anything I can help you with?" She smiled.

It was a reasonable question, after all they only met twice and with how things are in the world, he could be offering a scam for all everyone knew. But he's genuine in his intention to actually try and be a good research partner.

“Hmm, perhaps we can write letters to one another while you are there? It might be nice to have someone on the outside, plus I can do some research for you…”

“That is only if you wish…I am sure you had mentors that would be better help to write with than me…”

"My mentors are exiled researchers , so I can't really write anything to them but report straight to them. Its half the reason why I'm here, and why I haven't been reporting to...the acting grand sage."

"I just don't like him. That's all. If my mentors start getting letters, he will get on their cases and make life a bit more difficult."
"But you , I can write to. Or perhaps we can travel together, after all working with others and giving theories is the best part of a study group."
