“Oh no, it’s not impossible, just very hard. One of our powers includes controlling our tangibility. If we’re paying attention nothing can hit us.” Quite handy when they didn’t feel like fighting. “Oh no I didn’t say you would I just meant on the off chance we do startle you somehow.”
“Ah, I see. Very handy I’m sure.” He was always envious of the ability to do that. It would make things so much easier for him. “Let’s hope it doesn’t happen. Would be terrible if I found a weak spot by accident.”
herundhin:
He couldn’t help the small snort that left him. “Sorry, that wasn’t at you, but more the idea of something actually hurting us. But yes if you do come to live with us we’ll be sure to be careful.” The ability to control their tangibility and not really, well, die easily helped that thought.
A red eyebrow lifted at the snort. When Hin explained Delphox shrugged a bit. “I’m sure it’s not impossible to do so. I’m not purposely going try it though.” Especially since he had offered to let him stay at his place.
herundhin:
A nod was given. “You’re welcome. At least with us we’ll be more understanding should anything happen.” It anything happened it’d likely be to blame on whatever he’d gone through. At least, he assumed as much anyway.
The fox smiled again. “I have no doubt that you understand me. If I do stay with you I must warn you of my violent tendencies. Just try not to startle me.” The possibilities of nightmares would do it too but with his good mood maybe they wouldn’t happen.
herundhin:
“I mean, as long as Her is fine with it I really don’t see the problem. Besides, we went through similar situations, it’d probably do you some good to stick around a while. It wouldn’t really be a burden.” At least, in his mind it wouldn’t anyway.
Delphox gave a smile. “Well thank you. Not many are very willing to take me in like this.” Of course he knew why. He was violent and unstable. But surely these twins would understand that.
herundhin:
A nod was given. “I couldn’t tell you where we were when what was done to us happened, I just know we ran a good deal away.” His head tilted a bit. “Oh? It is hard to find a place, we know that much. I’m sure once I’ve explained it to him, Her wouldn’t mind you staying with us for a while if you’d like.”
“At least you got away.” Though that meant the bastard that did this to them was still out there somewhere. The last sentence made the fox blink. “What? You would do that for me? I wouldn’t want to be a burden on the pair of you.”
herundhin:
“Tell me about it.” He sighed a bit. He caught the sincerity, which was the main reason why he didn’t retort with anything. “Anyway, do you come here often or?” The fox wasn’t exactly native to Unova after all. He was a little curious on why he was here.
Delphox sighed a bit at the question. “What was done to me was done in Kalos.” He started. “Because of that I can’t bring myself to stay there long. I am looking for a new home but haven’t had much luck.”
herundhin:
An eye roll was given. He knew that’d been coming. “He probably wouldn’t try to do anything. He’d be more likely to panic than anything.” That was more so because not many knew what’d happened to them, though Her was the one more likely to explain it to people.
That just made him think Hin was the one that was more likely to lash out. A lot more likely. “Well we don’t want that. You poor boys have been through enough.” There was sincerity in his tone as he spoke.
herundhin:
“Curiosity killed the cat.” He stated. He’d learned a lot more than just what he was after all. Hearing the question, he sighed a bit. “I suppose. Just let me be the one to tell him you know what happened to us.” It’d make it easier in the long run, so Her wouldn’t get thrown into a panic attack.
“I guess it’s a good thing I’m a fox then.~” He said with a chuckle. The fox gave a nod at the rest of his words. “No problem with that. Probably would be better coming from you and would certainly save my fur from whatever he’d try to do to me.”
herundhin:
“Well, thank you for doing that then I suppose.” It was nice to know he hadn’t seen everything at least. He really had gone through a lot, and so had his brother. It’d warped their sense of pain if he were being completely honest.
“I only really wanted to see what you were. I did not expect to see... all that.” If Hin really wanted he’d share his own history. Just to make it even. “So since you’re not too mad at me I take it I am welcome around you and your brother? I wont peek in your mind anymore.”
herundhin:
“Hm, you haven’t seen the powers I do have then. Just because I don’t know how to use any moves doesn’t mean I’m defenseless.” Besides, it’s not like the other would actually hurt him in any case. Well, yes he could try but it wouldn’t do anything unless he figured out his weak spot.
“Had I stayed in your mind long enough to get every detail I’d have hurt you. Seeing what I did makes me think you’ve had enough pain.” Delphox didn’t really want to hurt someone that went through the same things he had.

herundhin:
A grumble left him, knowing he really couldn’t blame the fox. Still, it was annoying having his life known by someone other than those who’re involved. “Just be glad I’m not doing anything about it. Had it been anyone else I probably would’ve gone off on them.” He felt, violated to say the least.
His words prompted a sharp toothed smirk to form on the fox’s face. “That might have worked before I found out that you can’t hurt me. But now... Not so much. You might be a giant compared to me but I am still a Pokemon after all.” Fire would still hurt and then some.
herundhin:
“So, you’re a Pokemon then?” Honestly he wasn’t surprised about that. “No, I’m not, but do you blame me? And either way it’s not as if I was going to do anything. You probably saw the DNA I was fused with. I can’t even use actual moves.”
“Yes.” He said with a nod. “No I don’t blame you. That was horrific. But you can’t blame me for being cautious either. And I did see that, yes. Chandelure, which explains the purple you have. I know that now but I’m not sorry for doing it.”
herundhin:
“Wha-…” How did he know tha-. Wait, is he the reason those memories came back? “I don’t know what you are but I don’t appreciate having my mind snooped through like that.” He wanted to be more annoyed, but knowing he’d been through a similar situation made it rather hard.
“I am Delphox.” He thought it fair to give up what he was for forcing his way in. “You didn’t seem like one to share so I had to find out myself. You give off the aura of something I am weak to so...” It was partially precaution and partially curiosity.
herundhin:
Removing his hand from his head, he blinked as he looked back at the other. “Like you?” Clearly Hin was more confused than anything. It hadn’t clicked that the other had been searching his mind. Then again, the resurfaced memories were a good distraction from thinking straight.
“Yes...” He watched the other carefully as he moved. “Experimented on against your will. Tortured from said tests.” At least from what he’d seen the human hadn’t been forced to kill anyone. Though he could see the will to do so without telepathy.
herundhin:
“Pah.” Moving, he chose to leave himself. That was, until he felt something going on in his head. “Nnh.” A hand moved up to the side of his head, holding it as flashes of his childhood came and went, coupled with the accident he and his brother was in. If his heart were still beating, it’d have been racing.
His eyes went wide behind his glasses as he saw the other’s past. “So that’s it... You’re like me...” Only worse was done to the human. If he could even be called that anymore. To cross boundaries like that must have been so painful. Realizing what he had been crossed with Delphox took a few steps back from the other man thinking he might be angry.
