— THE MISTAKES WE MAKE
daxton cursed beatrice under his breath when the blonde girl told him to get a spot on the floor, but really, what was he expecting? the two of them weren’t friends, would never be, and he was positive that she hated him. he was just getting “comfortable” on the floor by the door of his apartment when she told him to get in and he was surprised, but glad; a couch would be better than the floor for sure. “yes, so much fucking trouble, and it’s your fault.” he replied without thinking, forgetting who beatrice was and that she was probably gonna make fun of him. dax rolled his eyes at her words, because yes, samantha was going to kill him but… he did something worth while, didn’t he? he was drunk out of his mind… samantha never let him drink too much, for his own good of course, but now he was drunk and he had fun. “what are you saying?” he furrowed his eyebrows as beatrice stared at him, his green eyes meeting her blue for a dangerous sparkle of a moment. “stop looking at me like that.” dax said absently, words not matching his actions as he moved closer to the blonde girl standing before him. his brain kept yelling at him to stop moving! but he had a foggy mind that wasn’t capable of obeying. “what do you think it’s something worth while?”
"aw, poor dax. gonna get a time out?” she teased and faked a pout, her eyes looking him up and down with ... lust? it had to be the alcohol doing this to her. because sober, she wouldn’t even be voluntarily standing in the same room as him. “everything is always my fault, what can i say? i’m a bad girl.” her voice was almost a whisper, seductive as ever. “i’m saying, you’re gonna be in trouble either way ... so why not do something worth being in trouble for? so what you didn’t answer her calls? that’s nothing. you could have done worse. but she doesn’t care does she?” she stepped closer once more, almost closing all space between their bodies. “she’s going to yell at you and be mad at you for days i’m sure, so you might as well go out with a bang, right?” she lifted her eyebrow and bit at the corner of her lip. she kept her eyes on him and smirked, a mischievous look in her eyes. “i don’t know, i’m sure i can think of something.” she reached for the hem of her own shirt and pulled it up over her head and tossed it somewhere on the floor. “she doesn’t have to know everything you do.” she stepped closer even more, their bodies now touching. “or anyone for that matter.” her lips were dangerously close to his and she could already taste the alcohol.
