How do you add the glowy balls in your pictures? :P

Hi love, this is how I do it (mini tutorial)

1. Type a “bokeh” in google images, click in “search tools” and select license free, then grab one of your liking, in my case I chose this one for the tutorial

2. Open your picture in photoshop and create a new layer on top

2. Place your bokeh picture in this new layer, and lower the opacity so you can see the original picture behind

3. Then, change the bokeh layer blending mode to Hard Light, as you can see it becomes more glowy and saturated.

4. Next, create a new layer mask, just by clicking that little icon below and  it creates a new “white window” next to the layer.

5. Then, grab the brush tool and black color, you can change your brush opacity to your liking, and by painting black in this new “white window” you’re going to erase the parts where you don’t want the “glowy balls” to appear. (as you can see I erased it next to her face, and left them mainly on the bottom part, but this really depends on your liking!)

And that’s it, idk if this is the best way to do it, but it is basically how I do it (sometimes it can change depending on my mood or the picture) but this sums it up, but you can look for bokeh effect tutorial in youtube, i’m sure there are plenty of ones!

Shading/shadowing Tutorial - Easy And Fast

Create a new layer, click on the ‘Polygonal Lasso Tool’

Select parts of the image where you want the shadow to be (I recommend doing that under the eyelid and on big side of the face, you can use this as reference)

After you have the selection closed, fill it with black. (Brush)

Click ‘Select’ —> ‘Deselect’ 

‘Filter’ —> ‘Blur’ —> ‘Gaussian Blur’ 

Change the Radius to 2.7 pixels —> Ok

Now do the same exact thing in parts of the face/body. ‘Polygonal Lasso Tool’ select parts and close them , fill with black (Brush) , Select –> Deselect…

‘Filter’ –> ‘Blur’ –> ‘Gaussian Blur’ –> Change the ‘Radius’ to 45.6 pixels (you can do more/less) –> Ok
