kim jongdae is the type of person who starts a conversation with the delivery man and asks the man about his family and tells him to get rest and to take his kids out on a picnic when he finds the time. jongdae is the type who makes sure to buy everyone’s favorite teas when he goes grocery shopping and throws in a couple of chocolate bars to give to others when they’re having a bad day. he prays for everyone at night, his parents always come first, then it’s his members and his friends and the people around him, and at the end he always thanks god for his health. kim jongdae is the type to sit on the couch and pull members in to watch movies together and lets jongin rest his head in his lap and pets jongin’s head and hums a little bit until the other falls asleep. kim jongdae is the type who makes honey ginger tea for the members who are sick or have strained throats after spending too long practicing. even when he’s practicing himself, he’s the type to take care of everyone else too. like how he’ll sneak a protein bar into everyone’s bags, collect water bottles to refill during their breaks during practice. jongdae is the type to spend hours and hours practicing singing just because he loves it so so so much and the only thing he could ever imagine doing is singing. jongdae will spend hours listening to music and humming and singing around the dorms to the point where the other members almost find it strange to hear beyonce’s original version instead of hearing jongdae’s voice. kim jongdae is a wonderful human being full of love and compassion and anyone would be blessed to have him in their life.
