duhserenity: you could catch me missin’ class to catch up on sleep..  duhserenity: listen,,, i was going to go to class... but i risked it all by sleeping fifteen more mins..  duhserenity: now, i’m already late, so there’s no point in getting up anymore

“whatever—” he waved his hand to dismiss the conversation, though it was a pointless gesture since he wasn’t even done with it. “why does it piss me off? you sure as hell know why it pisses me off!” cliff stated, annoyance clear in his tone. “you know how i feel about you — fuck, serenity — i’ve only said it fifty thousand times since you broke things off. how is any of this fair?” cliff asked then, eyeing her for a moment before continuing. “you broke up with me when you saw one of my friends talking to me — what a stupid television show made you see. what’s so different about this right here?”

rolling her eyes, she lets out a huff of her breath feeling her stubborn personality come alive as this conversation went on. “maybe i don’t know how you feel about me, after all you sure as hell don’t show it.” as he brought up the past, she couldn’t help, but give him a glare as she rises an eyebrow shaking her head at him. “are you seriously trying to bring that shit up? we both you know you have some sort of feelings for her in the past or not, hell ever since you two reunited it’s like i was put second. you went to her for everything and i was the one who was your girlfriend! the difference is that i never put anyone before you.”

“i don’t know!” he threw his arms up in frustration and then ran his fingers through his hair. “you don’t seem to try to stop any of the guys that flirt with you.” cliff backed away from her, arms crossing his own chest. “don’t ask me to help you with this shit if this is what’s going to happen every time. i can’t sit there and watch them try to get with you— it pisses me off.”

her mind couldn’t wrap around the idea as to why he was so god damn pissed at her. she did nothing wrong, yet here they were fighting as if they were a couple again, like she belonged to him. “hey, you’re the one who offered to help me! i don’t ask for people to flirt with me!” she exclaims as she frowns a bit. “why the hell does it piss you off? you don’t see me getting mad whenever that girlfriend of yours is at your house.” she mumbles knowing that she had no place to be mad at him after all it was his home she was staying at.

he exhaled his frustration when he heard her enter after him, not turning to face her until she had finished speaking. “i could have had something to do today. what the hell was that?” cliff asked, brows raised — showing both his anger and jealousy. “you know that guy or something? or do you just flirt with every guy who talks to you when i’m around?”

serenity had no idea what gotten over him as she raised her own eyebrows at him before shaking her head. “but didn’t you just say you had something to do? now, i’m really confused.” she groans as she crosses her arms over her chest listening to what he had to say. “do you really think I flirt with every damn guy who talks to me? so, that’s how you really fucking see me as, huh?”

“are you serious?” cliff mumbled under his breath and then lowered the camera, eyeing the male who stood way too close to serenity for his liking. “yo, i’ve got shit to do today. can you fucking focus?” he stated through his teeth, eyeing the male up and down before looking to serenity with surprise written on his features. “when you’re done flirting with your buddy here, then come and get me,“ cliff added before exiting to the other room.

serenity was having another one of her planned photoshoot to send pictures to her mother as a little proof of her modeling. it was a whole lie, so she could stay the summer in london, why she did it, she didn’t know why until it hit her. she knew that when cliff opened up his home for her to stay for the summer, she couldn’t turn it down, she wanted to patch things up with him, but it seem like it wasn’t going to work out. in between takes a stranger came up to her and the two started chatting up a storm. however, hearing the sound of cliff’s voice caused her to glance over towards him and rise an eyebrow as she watched him leave to the next room. she internally rolled her eyes before excusing herself and following him to the next room. “hey, if you had something to do today you should of told me before agreeing to take new shots of me.” she mutters as she bit on her bottom lip. “and i wasn’t even flirting, what is wrong with you? you’ve been acting weird this whole day.”

duhserenity: since you’re in such torture, then i’m on my way.  duhserenity: don’t rush me, it’ll only make me want to go slower!  duhserenity: but dealllllllllll!

“i can help you with that… i’ve got several cameras to offer up for the project,” cliff wiggled his brows and chuckled along with her. when she mentioned staying on the couch he immediately denied the statement with a shake of his head, it wouldn’t be an ideal place to stay for the whole summer. “not a chance,” he said, eyes meeting hers, “you need a space of your own. i’ll move into the spare room and you can take my room. it all works out in the end. problem solved.”

“you’re willing to do that for me?” serenity questions, as she eyes him her chuckle died down as it forms a soft smile. seeing him shake his head caused her to frown a bit. “hey.. but -- i just.. i feel bad.” she mumbles, fiddling with her fingers. “i know.. the room was..” she trails off not wanting to finish the sentence. “i could take it if you so badly don’t want me on the couch.”

“i’ll…” he paused, wrinkling his nose in thought. there was really only one option for a second room, but cliff hadn’t worked up enough strength to actually go into it. his mother’s room has been empty for months, maybe now was as good a time as any to use it. “you know there are two bedrooms,” his eyes linger on hers a moment, a small smile forming once more — pushing the thought of his mother away for now. “london has plenty to offer… what would your mom have against you staying?” cliff didn’t intend to pry, however, he worried that if they separated now entirely, there wouldn’t be much they could do to fix this by the end of summer. “completely your choice.”

she knew that there were two bedrooms, but she knew that the other one was his mother’s and she didn’t want him to go in it if he wasn’t ready for it. clearing her throat, she nods her head giving him a light smile. “maybe i could convince her that i have some sort of modeling gig for the summer here.” serenity laughs, knowing how much her mother wanted her to follow in her footsteps of becoming a model. “i -- i just don’t want to be a bother..” she admits, looking over towards him. “i mean -- if I stay with you, i’ll sleep on the couch..”

a hint of a smile showed in the way he tilted his head and revealed the twitch from the corner of his mouth, “what’s stopping you?” cliff asked, shifting to face her entirely and getting a better look at her.

she could feel his eyes on her causing her to eye him before licking her lips as she shrugs her shoulders. “I would just be in the way.. plus you don’t have room for me.” she reasons with him knowing that her feelings for him were still there and she didn’t know how she would react being in the same house as him for the entire summer. “plus, i’m sure my mom won’t even let me stay if I ask..”

saxyeryk: i was dragged here much to my disliking, didn’t have much of a choice :’( saxyeryk: im in fancy hell right now, im stuck here for at least another hour or so.

duhserenity: that’s tragic..  duhserenity: i mean i could go pick you up, you just have to make up an excuse to leave.

saxyeryk: thought i could have a chill start of the break, but nope im stuck at a boring garden party. saxyeryk: the food is too tiny and the people are bleh. save me.

duhserenity: i told you to not go...  duhserenity: you didn’t listen to me, therefore you should suffer.

“You know me, im full of good ideas.” Eryk boasted with a teasing smirk pulling at the corner of his lips. “Nah, my mum is hardly ever around..so she probably wouldn’t even notice you..though i’d doubt she’d care otherwise.”

“Are you really? Or is that just a front?” Serenity chuckles while rising an eyebrow, almost like she was challenging him. “I just don’t want your mom to be all up in your ass for having me over without her knowing.”

“Why not just chill back here for a little while then, tell your mum some things came up that you need to stay in London for.” Eryk suggested politely. “Actually ive got an extra room at my place, if you need a place to stay or hide out in.”

“That’s actually not a bad idea...” Serenity trails off as she stares at him with a slight smile across her lips. “Oh, please.. I can’t do that, plus wouldn’t your mom say something?”
