His lips were still colder than her own, and it shocked her dazed system a bit as she blinked a few times only to let them flutter closed and kiss him back. She felt nothing inside, nothing but a flutter here and there from the contact of some skin to skin…well lips to lips. Her hand reached out to grasp onto his hair, dark strands twirled into her fingers as she felt her kisses grow urgent. She missed contact, but kissing like this was something she had done with Ben before sex, it felt like nothing other then flesh pressed against one another, and she missed it oddly enough. In her head she could remember pale blue eyes on her, a sharp smile grinning down on her like a blaze of unnatural light, flashes of golden blonde hair and hands that bore down onto her, pressing against her body to push her every which way onto and away from him. She knew it was wrong to have missed that, just kissing Beckham brought it all back in waves of need. Her body ached for someone to hold her, coddle her, to stoke skin that was missing a touch. Celine pulled him up with her, sitting him up as she knelt beside him, lips fervently asking for more despite the fact all she could think about was Carlisle. Hands clasped around his face, cupping a strong jaw as her eyes stung, Celine refusing to shed tears over a man who wasn’t the man she wanted.

He let her pull him up, following her with just as much vigor, but there was no passion. Beckham usually liked the spark, but there was none left in him at this point and he was just going to take what he got. Celine was feeding into it beckoned for more with her lips, her movements, her hands, and he was responding to it all. His hands trailed down from her face, down her neck, over her shoulders and onto her hips, pulling her into him so every possible inch of their bodies were touching. His heart rate picked up with the natural shot of adrenaline brought by the sensuality and, for that moment, he felt okay again. It faded faster than he wanted, so he lowered and tightened his grip on her thighs, pulling a leg around him to melt them together even more and dropping them both down on the bed. The deeper they went, the better he felt. This was Beckham Cooke at his finest and -- dammit -- it didn't matter who it was with. Their lips moved together in their own broken rhythm, picking up speed and slowing at random intervals, mixing heat with ice and warming him better than the alcohol from moments before. He growled against her, moving his lips from hers to her neck and back to her lips again, his hands everywhere at once. He was searching. He was finding nothing. This was desperation at it's finest and he wasn't going to stop until he found the answer he was looking for.
