Here’s my final 2 abstracts and the assemblage i used for inspiration. I took the reductive abstract quite literally, i want the comparison between both abstracts to be intense and extremely different. I used the same colour pallets for both paintings in relation to my assemblage. Having the frame on my extensive abstract was meant to portray the wood int the background of my assemblage and also captured the vintage Side of assemblage vibe i was going fore. The flowers coming out of the woman’s hair is in relation to the flowers in the assemblage as welll. I chose to paint a woman that had a vintage aura to her.

Something i made a while ago, i printed out an image and ironed on gold wrap on top of the image to create a an old film effect then pasted it on paper and painted around around it including the edges of the photo to really make it look old and vintage.
