Hey everyone! This is the official sign-up post for the GIF Style Exchange Event. Please click the link above and sign up!
By signing up, you will be randomly assigned a partner with who you will swap giffing styles. You will both make a new gifset based on your partner’s style, exploring new ways of sharpening and colouring, or learning to use different overlays and typography. You can communicate with each other or with us to ask questions if you need a hand. The point of the event is to learn something new and have fun!
Sign-up: July 28 - August 15

Every gifmaker! We have gathered some examples from our own blogs below to show you some of the different types of gifsets:
Compilations: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Character portraits: 1, 2, 3, 4
This list is by no means exhaustive; your gifsets can have completely different styles or combinations of the above. It’s just to give you ideas!

You will be randomly paired with someone.
They will have your chosen example gifset to use as inspiration, and you will have theirs.
Follow @creatorsevents for updates and to make sure we can send you a message at the start of the event.
During the month-long event time you can communicate with each other.
Post your gifs on Sept 20 by using “@creatorsevents GIF Style Exchange Event → inspired by @[username]’s set” as caption and #ceproject1 as tag
