Patch v1.120.140 - January 13th, 2026

Welcome to patch day everyone!

Today's game update covers a plethora of game bugs which also includes several critical issues. The powers that be claim that this update should fix everything it says it will, but we all know....cough cough ....

Not much is expected to break with this update, but historically, we have been known to be wrong.

On the side of caution:

⚠️ Back up your saves before updating! If you choose not to update your game to wait for your favourite mod creators to announce their mod updates, you can delay your patch by turning off automatic updates and putting the EA app in offline mode until your favourite mods have been confirmed as working or updated.

We will only support Version 1.120.117 of the game for up to a week to allow mod creators time to update their mods accordingly. After that, we will insist that you update to Version 1.120.140 for further support.

✅ Before coming into support with any "it's not working" or "is it working" statements, we insist you check the troubleshooting steps via this support link in Zerbu's Discord: #announcements.

Zerbu Mod Status: Currently, nothing has been reported as broken. Any updates provided by Zerbu will be posted on Zerbu's Discord in the ⁠#announcements channel.

❌ Please do not double-post in the Discord support channels or in Patreon Community Support Chats. This will only cause further delays in responding or receiving support.

Patch v1.120.117 - December 2nd, 2025

Today's patch addresses over 40 bugs, including critical save corruption and crashing issues. were expected to be fixed in today's patch, including the save corruption and crashing issues. EA is also adopting new UI software, which will break incompatible UI mods. If your interface looks glitchy post-update, remove those mods immediately and wait for mod creators to confirm compatibility updates (if possible at all).

Other tweaks appear minor, but as always with EA patches—proceed with caution and here are some important things to keep in mind:

Patch v1.119.109 - November 4th, 2025

Sorry for the delay in getting this out to you all, but here it is....

EA launched a patch today that is meant to fix over 150 game bugs - some of which we have been around for what seems like forever. The update also includes some new base content - which is exciting in itself!

Some important things to keep in mind:

⚠️ Back up your saves before updating! If you choose not to update your game to wait for your favourite mod creators to announce their mod updates, you can delay your patch by turning off automatic updates and putting EA app in offline mode until your favourite mods have been confirmed as working or updated.

Update: One of the new base game additions is gameplay that celebrates West African culture, thanks to a collaboration between EA and the Pan African Gaming Group. This free content includes Build/Buy items, recipes, and more. (quoted from Deaderpool's Discord)

We will only support Version 1.118.157 of the game for up to a week to allow mod creators time to update their mods accordingly. After that, we'll ask you to update to Version 1.119.109 for additional support.

EA launched a small patch today, containing a few fixes for today's release of the Adventure Awaits expansion pack. While it is just a small update, we don't anticipate any major issues to mods however, on the side of caution.....

Yesterday's gigantic patch was in preparation for the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack, scheduled to release on October 2nd. This patch also has several Laundry List fixes.

Remember: We are only supporting Patch v1.117.244 for up to a week to allow mod creators time to update their mods. You will be expected to update your game to the current version for further support after that.

Zerbu Mods Status - Zerbu is in the process of checking all his mods to confirm whether or not updates are needed. He will also be digging for new information about Adventure Awaits. Please continue to check Zerbu's Announcements Channel for any updates. As we know, you will know!

Let's Get Ready....Winter is Coming...

EA llaunched a patch yesterday in preparation for the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack being released on October 2nd. They have also stated that several Laundry List fixes will be included in tomorrow's patch.

Given EA's history, Expansion Pack patches are infamous for breaking every mod, even the little ones, so here are a few tips that we suggest you do to prepare for the patch:

⚠️If you have automatic updating turned on, either turn it off or go offline so your game doesn't update automatically.

‼️Backup your save files. This will help prevent game corruption regardless of whether EA broke it or you didn't update your mods from previous patches (this seems to be the norm with many). Note: Worst-case scenario, you will be able to recover your saves.

🚫Do not come into Zerbu's Support channels the day of or the day after the patch asking if Zerbu's mods are updated, or need updating.

This will be a big update, so we need to allow time for Zerbu to check and update all his mods. We will keep you updated in ⁠Zerbu's announcements channel on the status of Zerbu's mods as we are provided with the updates.

Note: It would be best to keep mods disabled until you have confirmation that your favourite mods (not just Zerbu's) have been updated, or are compatible with the patch.

While some general Sims4 support servers will be closed during this patch, Zerbu's Discord will remain open, but please note that we are not a general support server and we will only support Zerbu's mods. If you require support with general mods, you will need to wait until the usual general Sims4 support servers open back up.

We also ask that you do not DM any of the support team members on Zerbu's Discord for mod support (of any creator). This will result in an immediate kick from the server.
