March 28 - Pink Floyd’s 14th studio album The Division Bell was released on this day in 1994. The album’s title was suggested by Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy author Douglas Adams in exchange for David Gilmour making a donation to Adams’ favorite charity. The head statues depicted on the album cover are now on display at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
