“I’m going to go to my room, I guess.”

“Alright,” Bella nods softly.

sofiexpayne:

“Okay. I’m not going to argue, because my thoughts and opinions obviously don’t count towards anything anyway.”

“You know that that’s not true but you’re right, it’s better just not to argue.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“I went to one without asking! Just one. I’m sure you did plenty of things grandma didn’t like when you wet my age.”

“Not really. I told grandma a lot. Probably way more than most kids tell their parents but I’m glad I did. It made her trust me.” 

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“You’re acting as if I’ve done some egregious act! I just went to a party, mom.”

“You went to multiple parties, without asking and you drank. It doesn’t matter if what you think isn’t that bad. I just don’t like it.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

Sofie closed her eyes and rolled them, “When did you become so strict?”

“I’m not strict, Sofie. I just don’t like the way you’ve been acting lately.” 

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“Could you be any less cryptic?”

“I’m not being cryptic, Sofie. I just don’t know when you’re going to behave...” 

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“And how long is that going to take?”

“I don’t know, you tell me.” She shrugs.

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“It’s not really fair to say that when this is literally the first time I’ve been grounded.”

“I’m just telling you that I’ll be better to you and for you when you’re back in my good graces.” 

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“I know we’re not on the greatest terms, but you’re the best.”

"I would be better if you were better behaved. Keep that in mind.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“I know. If he gets too mad will you step in?”

“If I’m there and he gets too mad, yeah, I’ll step in.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“Maybe, but I’m not getting my hopes up.”

“Not getting your hopes up is probably better. That way you won’t be too disappointed if he’s not happy.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“He’s going to be so mad at me. I hat making him mad. His face gets so scary.”

“Maybe he’ll be more understanding cause you’re being honest with him.” She shrugs.

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“Alright, I can do that,” she nodded. “Has he been in good or bad moods lately?”

“Thank you,” she nods softly. “He’s been kind of stressed lately if I’m honest. So, that’s definitely not in your favor.”

[bella-payne]

sofiexpayne:

“Can I at least have my phone back after the first week? Or can I have it until a certain time?” She chewed on the inside of her cheek, “You think so? I hope he doesn’t yell. I hat being yelled at.”

“I’ll think about it. Like I said, give me a chance to sleep on it and I’ll let you know tomorrow.” She shrugs. “I hope he doesn’t yell, either. I guess you have to hope he’s in a good mood.”

sofiexpayne:

“How much longer? Pleas not another week. It’s only been a few days and I feel like I’m missing an arm without my phone.” She nodded her head, “Okay, I’ll tell him myself.”

“Maybe another week. Only cause it’s weird to just add on a few days. I’ll sleep on it.” Bella shrugs. “Thank you. I know he’ll appreciate you being honest with him as well.”

sofiexpayne:

“Do you think it would be better for me to tell him? That kind of worked in my favor with you because I’m sure if Aunt Gigi Tim you I’d probably be grounded longer than a week.”

“Well, I think you’re gonna be grounded for longer than a week cause of what you pulled today but I know what you mean. Yeah, I do think you should just be honest with him.”

“I don’t think he’s that mean.”

“I don’t think he’d do that, either. But, I just don’t want to tell you no cause I don’t know for sure.”
