~ Disneyland Paris (2) / 11.9.16 / Reign of Fire studios set ~ I feel I wouldn't be rounding of my 'documenting my summer' blog without posting my final adventure, my 18th birthday trip to Disneyland Paris! These were taken on the 'Reign of Fire' backlot set and it's one of my favorite (highly underrated) films (basically dragons destroy london. It's amazing I swear.) @esherphotography
~ Disneyland Paris (1) / 11.9.16 / Parade ~ I feel I wouldn't be rounding of my 'documenting my summer' blog without posting my final adventure, my 18th birthday trip to Disneyland! These shots were taken during the parade and were hard to capture as the floats moved quickly as did the characters. I took these on my phone so they focused automatically and I edited them minimally just to brighten them and bring out the bold colors. @esherphotography

~ Fantasy Life / Set Three / Greywind ~ @esherphotography @photographystephen (Own title shoot) I spent the past Sunday at Reading Festival and thought it would be great to use this as my final shoot. The title ‘fantasy life’ comes from how I view the world the musicians are in with all the gigs they play for a living, the fans and people they reach and of course the fame and fortune - they genuinely live a fantasy life. I had never even heard of this band before their set but they were outstanding, vocals on point and amazing guitar riffs, they had a vibrant energy about them and I feel I captured them well.
~Fantasy Life / Set Two / Strange Bones~ @esherphotography @photographystephen (Own title shoot) I spent the past Sunday at Reading Festival and thought it would be great to use this as my final shoot. The title ‘fantasy life’ comes from how I view the world the musicians are in with all the gigs they play for a living, the fans and people they reach and of course the fame and fortune - they genuinely live a fantasy life. I came across this band by pure chance, going into the tent they played in to escape the rain. I managed to capture the essence of this punk bands madness well and edited in black and white to give the images a rawer feeling.
~ Fantasy Life / Set one / Mikey Way ~ @esherphotography @photographystephen (Own title shoot) I spent the past Sunday at Reading Festival and thought it would be great to use this as my final shoot. The title ‘fantasy life’ comes from how I view the world the musicians are in with all the gigs they play for a living, the fans and people they reach and of course the fame and fortune - they genuinely live a fantasy life. Mikey Way is a bassist and guitarist, he rose to fame with a band called My Chemical Romance (a personal favourite of mine that sadly broke up a few years ago). Mikey came out to perform with a band called Waterparks and I had to capture it as I will probably never see him live again.
~ Natural Beauty ~ I visited Longleat safari park and took a few photos of the flowers and reptiles in the butterfly house, focusing on capturing the textures and colors of each subject.

~ in my opinion ~ .. in my opinion lyrics have a way to speak out for people who don’t have a voice and give confidence to those struggling to find theirs. Many occasions have I used songs to express how I feel when talking is to much and I’ve used this way of expressing myself. In this shoot i express myself using lyrics that speak out to me, represent me and represent my opinions.. @photographystephen @esherphotography

~ one subject four angles ~ @esherphotography @photographystephen
~ Same Subject, Four Angles//Niko Vass ~ Niko Vass is a still life and fine art photographer, (I couldn't find much information about him other than that.) His work became popular through his online accounts on Flickr and Instagram where he has thousands of followers. I was attracted to his work through his simple shooting and editing style, how he uses natural lighting and the placing of his object to further add to the composition in his images which makes the subject stand out further. @esherphotography @photographystephen
~ Morning Light, 5:45/6:15 am, Blowleeze Bay, Weymouth, Dorset ~ I took these images of the bay at sunrise, as no one was up or around at the beach I managed to capture Blowleeze in all its beauty. I didn't edit the images much, which I was keen to do since my artist study didn't either. I changed the levels in order to make the sun a little brighter but other then that they are raw. @esherphotography @photographystephen
~ Morning light // Paul Underhill ~ Paul Underhill is a landscape and nature photographer, bases in Poole, Dorset. Photography started out as a hobby, but since he loved the nature and wildlife of his home area, he decided to start photography professionally, to show off what he loved about his home town to everyone. I was drawn to his work due to the minimal editing, letting the natural hues and contrasts shine in his images, and as my shoot is for morning light, and I'm currently on holiday in Weymouth Bay in Dorset, I felt he would be the perfect photographer to inspire my shoot further. @photographystephen @esherphotography
