MINI REVIEW/FIRST IMPRESSIONS on the @cliniquesa Anti-Blemish Solutions Blemish + Line Correcting Serum (R750) I've been using this serum at night for the last two weeks and it has helped keep my skin clear of breakouts, inflammation and texture. It has completely diminished the milia on my forehead within days. It also claims to assist with lines and wrinkles but I can't really comment on that since I don't have any. I use just 3 drops and apply it all over my face. It absorbs quite quickly and doesn't feel sticky or tacky. This is definitely something I'd repurchase but the only thing I'd change is having it in a pump bottle instead. So here's my funny story for the day 😂 Two years ago I purchased the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette when it launched. I hated the textured shadows and sold my palette within weeks of receiving it. Last year I had so much FOMO seeing everyone rave about it, doing different looks with it and I felt like I had made a mistake. Then I saw this @badhabitbeauty Aphrodite palette and ordered it from @makeupshack.sa 💄 Played with it for a few weeks and my thoughts are the same. Textured shadows are $hit, they don't work for me, fingers or not. Loving the mattes in this palette and for the price of R399, I got rid of my FOMO and got some new shades to play with. Thanks @makeupshack.sa for the awesome service 👍 Just goes to show that I'm human, truly addicted to makeup, and get serious FOMO when I'm 'outchea' on the Gram 🙈

I finally decided to cancel my @morphebrushes @morphe_me @liveglam.co subscription. After months of receiving some amazing brushes, my collection has grown considerably. I would highly recommend this subscription service to anyone looking at expanding their makeup brush collection, It's both exciting and super affordable and you get the option to skip or trade your brushes at any stage. You can find full reviews on my blog on the service and process using the link in my BIO 💋 December's brushes consisted of the following: • RG18 Round Crease brush - perfect for crease blending and nose contour • RG8 Tapered Powder - great for applying blush or bronzer • RG6 Flat Buffer - good density to apply foundation • RG24 Blending Fluff brush - larger sparse bristles to blend out harsh edges or apply highlighter This is a great versatile set and I see myself using all of these brushes at one point or another. I do however prefer the black handled brushes over the bright metallic red limited edition brushes that sleighed for the holidays 🌲🌲🌲

QUICK FIRST IMPRESSIONS 💋 I lost one of my favourite lippies in Durban last week, the @lancomeofficial matte shaker in Beige Vintage (R315)💄 I dropped in to @foschinisa to pick up another one and saw the Monsieur Big Set (R350) with three products: • Mini matte shaker in shade Pink Power. I have the full size one of this so I gifted it to my daughter. The matte shaker is pigmented, lightweight on the lips and lasts a good few hours • Mini kohl liner in black. The pencil is pigmented and creamy and lasts in the waterline without smudging or fading. Love love love it • Full size Monsieur Big Mascara. I had such high hopes for this mascara because it gives such great volume to the lashes. My issue is with the wand that picks up way too much product, the fact that I have to wipe it first makes me feel like I'm throwing product away. The dense bristles make applying mascara up to the lash line difficult without smudging it. The mascara is very similar to the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara and not something I would recommend. However, if it is something you like and want to try out, This set is great value for money cos the mini items are technically free. I have my eye on the Lancome Hypnose Grandiose mascara next 👍
