We can guarantee you’ll be Halloween partyin’ hard to our audio. Please help us out by reblogging & sharing when it comes out :D
- If you get into callbacks (top 3 scorers for each role), remember that you need to direct message us within 72h claiming your spot! To ensure fairness, your spot will be given away if you have not responded [once this countdown hits zero].
- Because there are so many duplicates, we are including the names of 6 runner ups instead of 3, in case 3 runners up will not be able to fill spaces.
- If you are a runner up (4th-9th), you are not guaranteed a place in callbacks, but stick around! It’s very likely that runners up will be needed. If they are, announcements will be posted to the blog at the 72 hour mark.
- If you have not auditioned, keep an eye out – we have something cool coming out at the end of October!
Hello! This is such a wonderful idea and I was thinking of doing this sort of thing for another musical. As you inspired me to do this, I will give you credit but I’d like to know that you’re alright with this and don’t see it as copying. Thank you!
Yes, go for it! We don’t own the idea of reproducing musicals online, and we definitely aren’t the first people to do this kind of thing, so you don’t need our permission. Thanks for checking first, though :)
(However, the fact that we’ve okayed this does not mean you can copy the structure and organization of this project and just put a different name to it! We’ve had that issue with plagiarism come up before and it was very stressful for both parties involved.)
Hey, I was wondering if we could dm you to find out our individual placing/score? I didn't make callbacks or runner up, but Im just curious as to how I did.
Hi! Unfortunately, we won’t be giving out individual scores; a number isn’t very constructive, and giving out that kind of information could bring up some unhealthy competition.
If you want a detailed critique though, feel free to DM us, as we both served as judges!
Do the positioning of the top three mean anything like the positioning of the runners up do? As in, if you're at the top for one role and the bottom for another, do you have a better chance going for the top?
Positioning for top 3 scorers (bolded names) is randomized, while the unbolded names go 4th (top) to 9th (bottom) in order! 4th place has priority over 5th, etc.
So, a name directly after the top 3 (4th place) will be the first to be called upon for callbacks if a runner up is needed. I hope this makes sense!

RESULTS ARE UNDER THE CUT!
SYMBOLS KEY:
BOLDED: you have gotten into callbacks for this role (1st-3rd).
UNBOLDED: you are a potential runner up for this role (4th-9th).
***: You have gotten into callbacks (1st-3rd) for multiple roles, so you will need to choose one.
Remember, having a Discord is a requirement for all callbacks members!
Once again, remember you have to message us within 72h if you get into callbacks!
Thank you to everyone who auditioned! Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see your name. We had 325 rows of auditions, which means our judges had to make a lot of hard decisions.
Make sure you read through this post carefully to avoid being disqualified! To ensure fairness, we will not be lenient with the rules listed below.
Just stopping by?
Stick around on the blog–our first audio post will be out by the end of October!

[HERE is the official countdown until CALLBACKS INFO is released!]
- The info will be posted to this blog as a list. Said post will include names of callbacks members + runners up (the top 3 scorers for each role + 4th, 5th, 6th).
- If you are an actor who makes it to the top 3 for any given role, it is your responsibility to check the masterlist yourself and private message us claiming your spot!
You will have 72h to confirm your spot after results are posted. You’ll need to message us your listed name and the role(s) you’ve gotten in for.
After 48h passes, we try to contact you privately if you haven’t responded, but it’s best if you don’t wait until this point–we may not be able to reach you if your info is not written clearly enough.
After 72h, your spot will be automatically given away to a runner up.
- By default, the top 3 scorers for each role automatically get a spot in callbacks UNLESS:
>> They get in for another role and choose the other role instead. (Callbacks members may only participate in callbacks for one role!)
>> They do not respond to us within the 72h time frame.
In either case, their spot will be given to the next runner up (4th highest scorer has priority over 5th, etc.)
- If you are a runner up (4th, 5th, or 6th):
If you are not called on, you will not be part of the callbacks process (unless one of the top 3 drops their commitment halfway through callbacks).
Check the blog frequently for updates! After the first 72h have passed, we’ll make another post summoning runners up, if applicable.
Also–keep in mind that being part of the callbacks Discord group will be a requirement for all callbacks’ members!
Make sure you read through this post carefully to avoid being disqualified! To ensure fairness, we will not be lenient with the rules listed below.

The simple answer is no. The deadline for judge applications was the same as the deadline as that for actor submissions (8/31).
The lengthy answer is that if you’re certain you can go through 325 rows of auditions (975 recordings) in the remaining 2 weeks and score all of them while still adhering to our judging system, you can submit a judge form and we’ll consider making an exception.
Helloooo! Do you have an approximate time for when callbacks will be announced? I'm super excited!
Hey! Callbacks members will be announced on 10/4 or 10/5.
We’ve actually addressed this already [in this post] :) Please read the post carefully–if the rules there aren’t followed, that results in an automatic actor disqualification, and we don’t want that to happen to anyone!
hi I hope this isn't a stupid question, but since the discord will be a requirement later in the process, are we allowed to join and not say anything if we're shy/socially awkward, especially since it's been active for a few weeks now and people have likely gotten into the groove of conversing?
Yeah, that’s definitely okay! A lot of people in the group chat aren’t very active rn, anyways. (Also, worry not–if you do get into callbacks, that will take place in a brand new chat, so you’ll get your chance to a fresh start)!
Our only request is that you head to the #introductions channel if you do join and introduce yourself (preferred name / pronouns / role, etc). Otherwise, you can lurk all you want :)
Actor auditions close 8/31 (Thursday), but you’ll have the full day Thursday to turn them in. Try to get them in before 12AM Friday in your timezone– (Red and I will leave the submission spreadsheet open until we wake up Friday morning! After that, the spreadsheet will become uneditable.)
Just so we’re clear, IF YOU HAVE ANY MISSING AUDIOS, you will be disqualified! (Missing the monologue text (not audio)–the rightmost column–is acceptable.)
If one of your links doesn’t work, it will count as a missing audio. Recheck the spreadsheet to make sure all your links are working!
Callbacks info will be out on either 10/5 or 10/6. This will be a masterlist that includes callbacks members + runners up (the top 3 scorers for each role + 4th, 5th, 6th).
All callbacks info will be posted on this blog–if you are an actor who makes it to the top 3, it is your responsibility to check the masterlist yourself and private message us claiming your spot!
If you make it in, you have 72h to respond claiming your spot after results are posted (after 48h passes, we try to contact you individually, but it’s best if you respond as soon as possible). After that, your spot will be given away to a runner up.
