Hereās something mildly interesting. I snapped the first shot, a bundle of money glory blooms in the shape of a Z, or the number 2, that I captured yesterday morning. ⣠⣠In the second frame is that same bundle of flowers shot later in the day, after it rained. Weāve always had tons of these in all colors, including that pink, so it wouldnāt have been obvious, which means I definitely wouldnāt have noticed it. ⣠⣠Another close up of a rained on bloom, and that same bunch as of this morning. You can see the weirdo pink blooms tucked away and new purple ones taking their place.⣠⣠See what I mean? Not riveting, but worthy of mention. Is the purple just makeup, some pigment that can just be rinsed off? Or are their crazy talented and weird graffiti artists painting over flower blooms in my neighborhood? ⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CUk3T9VlwXi/
Freshly minted on HEN, which has hands down the best community Iāve encountered in all of my crypto reading and ventures.
Artists from Indonesia, Greece, Cuba, all over and theyāre all incredible.
I honestly just want to sell NFTās so I can buy more of them myself. Sooooo, feed my habit, please?

A view from another time. Although this was only taken a few years ago, it is a piece of Minneapolis that lives only in memories now.
A replacement now stands in its place, not quite as high, not quite as charming, itās just less than. It still conveys people safely across a highway so it achieves the most important bit, but it could have been so much more.

Minneapolis, but make it two Minneapolis, just for you
A Minneapolis/themed quote pretty and hella affordable NFT. Itās priced at a criminally low 0.003 ETH, which is the equivalent of ~$10.
Yes, you read that right, an NFT for TEN BUCKS!
Iām also getting started in NFTs, so we can get our feet wet together. If youāre good at marketing, you can totally resell it for more than you paid for it and make a little profit.
The photo is a doubled manipulation of the Minneapolis skyline from the south that I shot from atop a highway fence. Liberal edits followed, including the lovely combination of pinks and blues.
Series of 5, will not be minted anywhere else.
My last post was pretty ugly, so I felt like I should post something pretty pretty to make up for it. I present to you my lovely ladyās Lilies. Arenāt they just gorgeous? They even pop in black and white. The effects of the smoke can be lovely. Here it caused an orange wash over everything, a premature golden hour. I can live without it, but Iāll enjoy it if it happens. ⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CR-kKpsshd7/
Minneapolis from the south, awash in the worst air quality weāve ever seen. Since we started measuring and recording air quality. Itās nasty out there. All I want to do is ride my bike, but being asthmatic means itās really not a good idea. I still hate captions. ⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CR9LxGBLTL0/
Last week, I bought a house with my partner in the Stevens Square neighborhood in Minneapolis. Weāve been renting the house for about eight years and in October 2019, our landlord informed us that he intended to sell both of his properties in the coming year, likely in April. Then the pandemic happened and despite our sustained interest in purchasing the house, it took until July 2021 for us to finally close on it. He didnāt want to use agents, which meant we had to do a lot of the work, things got done out of order, and we wound up having something like five inspectors out, along with three (or was it four?) assessments done by the time we got through.⣠ ⣠Some interesting history of our house, which has an unusually large footprint with a massive (for a neighborhood a stoneās throw from downtown) side yard. Itās a corner lot, but itās still a lot bigger yard than anywhere around us. Our house sits on the very eastern side of the plot and there are two very similarly shaped houses to our east, with maybe 12ā between the structures. When the houses were all built in 1884, there were actually five houses built (see for reference), all similarly shaped. But where, you may ask, did those additional two houses go? If you look up the history of Minneapolis, particularly criminal histories, youāll find there was an arsonist who ran rampant in the late seventies, who was never caught, but was tied to the fiery destruction of many homes and businesses at the time.⣠ ⣠The home on the corner was converted into a duplex at some point, then an additional structure was added onto it and served as a convenience store for the neighborhood. When I looked up the permit records for that building, it shows electrical contractors installing neon āGrain Belt Premiumā and PBR signs before it got torched. Luckily, that building and the one next to it were both abandoned at the time of the fire, so the only loss was structural. Apparently, the city didnāt really want to deal with cleaning up somebody elseās mess, so they contacted the homeowner of our house and told him that if he cleared the lot *and* built a garage somewhere on the land, that theyād just add it onto his parcel.⣠posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CR0A-O4s9GP/
A bunch of photos from September, a part of my ongoing monthly series to push my photos out into the world.Ā
From the Minnesota State Fair to a Walker Art Center fundraiser with Norah En Pure and Biz Markie (wherein she is giving him the stink eye after he unceremoniously and prematurely ended her set early) to a trip to Lake Hubert and a scene from the I-94 @ 35WĀ project less than a block from my front door.Ā
I forgot about this post! Rest In Peace, Biz
This shot of one of the high energy-emotion-tempo-anticipation moments of @aboveandbeyond at #electricforest has been set as my lock screen since EF, and instead of missing it and wishing I was there, Iāve taken it as a kind reminder that a magical place like the Forest exists and that there will come a time when we can revisit it again. Itās easier this way. And a lot fewer tears. #ā”ļøš² šø: @franklayne (at Electric Forest)

Been two years since we last stepped foot in Electric Forrest. Itās a bummer that it isnāt happening this year, but luckily we had an entire year of bummers to practice and get better at dealing with them, right? Maybe? For now, letās go on a little tour of EF19. ⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠⣠posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CQoj0QlMxpj/
