“Is that right?”

He’d never been that close to her face before actually, the bright blue eyes staring back at him something of a distraction. Needless to say he’d have to keep a straight and stern expression if he was to get his point across.

“Prove it.”

The fact that their faces were in such close proximity had her nervous. Despite her typical confident nature, she was tempted to retreat back a step; however, she wouldn't. She was the Avatar, after all, and as he'd said before, he was an idiot. If nothing else, she would not be intimidated by him.

"You sure you want me to?"

A subtle flick of her wrists, a mocking grin lighting up her already bright eyes, and a slab of earth shifted. It thrust up, directly beneath the male's feet, tossing him into the air with just enough force to wind him.

"What'd I say, huh?"

And there it was, that look he was growing used to seeing due to the product of his words. He owed her, that much had been more than certain. She’d helped save his brothers life, or rather just as well his bending abilities from Amon. Taking that into thought added in with his current opinion of her only placed her as a closer friend. Still, when she was acting like a brat he’d call her on it.

“Relaxed. Right.”

Letting the flames erupt, he had waved a hand to dissipate any that got too close. He knew they weren’t exactly explosive in terms of quality. No, she was just trying to get an even better reaction from him. Taking a step forward, he was able to lean just enough to stare her down.

“You’ve got practice in the morning. I hope you know that.”

"Yeah. Relaxed."

Shoulders relaxed as her head canted, a challenging expression in her bright blues. However, the moment he advanced, she was nearly falling over her own two feet. His close proximity, not to mention the fact that he was rapidly dissipating her flames.

"Practice schmactice."

Throwing her gaze upwards, a sneer pulled up her lip as she did her best to remain calm. It was just hard with him advancing, his height intimidating.

"I don't need practice. I could take you down in my sleep."
