Værøy perfection. My dream of summiting this mountain in winter was something that had been playing in the back of my mind for a long time. After checking the weather reports and mountain forecasts, the high winds and arctic storms weren't exactly encouragingly. Værøy is pretty inaccessible in winter and the icy ridge leading to where I took this photo wasn't exactly safe. Everything that was telling me this was a stupid idea made me want it even more. I was so totally not aware that people didn’t know that being sorted into Houses was a real thing in UK schools. It’s not something made up just for the Harry Potter world, it’s a real schooling system, I was in the St George House at my school and everyone had the same attitude to Prefects as everyone in the HP world did to Percy Weasley I can assure you.
