Ben frowned when Isabelle started crying, having her upset not being his intention. “Of course. Bells Santa is like I said very kind and generous, he wouldn’t try and take your presents away after him and his elves spent so long trying to make them,” he said, rubbing his little sister’s back for comfort. “Now c’mon Bells, don’t waste anymore time! Open up those presents!” he cheered, a huge smile spreading across his face.

Johnny laughed and playfully covered his ears as his small sister began singing as loud as she could, moving so he was sitting at the end of his brother’s bed. “You’re gonna wake the whooooleee planet with a voice like that, Bells,” he chuckled, now watching as she began tickling Benji.

Standing up, he faced his brother and sighed. “Seriously Benji, don’t be such a scrooge! It’s present time! And if you don’t get up now me and Bells will just take alllll your presents and split them between us,” Johnny threatened jokingly, grabbing his brother’s arm and tying to tug him out of bed.

"No Bells not the tickle monster!" he cried dramatically, trying to push the small girl off him in between his fit of laughter. "No stop stop STOP! Okay I’ll get up just stop," Benji exclaimed breathlessly as he sat up and rubbed his sides. "Heyy I’m not a scrooge! And NO NO NO NO!" With that Ben blotted out of the room and down the stairs, tripping on the second to last step and falling flat on his face. He groaned in pain as he crawled to the tree and plopped down in front of it. "Woahh," he mumbled in amazement. Ben sat up and stared at the tree. "Johnny! Bells! Come look at all the presentsss!"

Isabelle gasped at what Johnny said, glancing her head back at him with a growing, mischievous grin as she hadn’t even thought of that. “Ooohhhhhh….!” she chirped teasingly, her voice getting higher as she looked back to Benji again. “Yeah Benji! We’re gonna get allll your presents!” she giggled, tickling him again even though he had told her to stop. “Even all those boring books I’m sure you asked for!” 

When he bolted out of bed, the little brunette was caught by surprise, falling back onto the bed since of course she had been perched on him. “Frecklesssss!” she whined after him, but quickly got up from the bed with a grin, bolting towards the staircase. She giggled as he felt flat onto his face. “That’s what you get for making me fall!” she laughed, and then followed down after him, squealing in excitement as she once again saw the presents. “Gosh there’s just soooo manyyy!!!!” she squealed, getting down onto her knees and inspecting some of the wrapped boxes, shaking them next to her ear. “Santa is the bestest fat old man in the whole wide world!”

Pale blue eyes caught sight of the presents beneath tree and excitement shot through Johnny’s body, immediately making him drop to the floor in front of the pile and begin digging through them searching for ones marked with his name. Hearing Isabelle, he chuckled and playfully shoved at her shoulder. “Better watch out, don’t want him to hear ya calling him old and fat. He might just swoop back in here and take alllll the presents he gave you right back,” he whispered ominously, hoping to tease and scare his sister.

Benji groaned, "Shut up Johnny, I'm too busy looking at the presents," he pouted as he turned to the presents, counting the ones that were his. Ben plopped down on the floor and took a box with his name on it, smiling contently to himself. Ben shook it to see if it made a sound, and carefully began tearing at the paper at an agonizingly slow pace. He was stopped though, by his sister's comment. "That isn't very nice Isabelle, calling a nice man who just gave you a sleigh full of presents.." he looked back and forth and whispered, "fat and old, isn't the best way to repay him back," he said matter of factly.

Johnny groaned into his pillow as he heard his little sister running wild around the Benbow, screaming in excitement. Suddenly remembering what day it was he sat right up, his face lit up with excitement and he was about to jump out of bed when he got a better idea. Knowing his sister would be running to his and Benji’s room any second now, he quickly dropped back down and pulled his covers around him, snapping his eyes shut and pretending to still be sleeping just to bug Isabelle.

Feeling her tiny hand tug on his own, he rolled over and held a finger to his lips, telling her to be quiet. Pulling her close, he whispered softly, “Let’s go jump on Freckles, ok? And scream Merry Christmas.” Moving quietly, he got out of bed and tiptoed with Isabelle over to the other bed in the room. “1…2…3!” Johnny and Isabelle jumped onto their brother at the same time screaming “Merry Christmasssss!”

Ben was fast asleep, tuning out the screaming Isabelle was making and trying to get as much sleep as possible. This always happened on Christmas. Isabelle and Johnny ran frantic around the Benbow at 5 in the morning and insisted on opening their presents then and there. Although Ben loved the holiday just as much as his siblings he didn’t like waking up at such an ungodly hour.

He groaned when they jumped on his and screamed. “Yeah yeah Merry Christnas guys.”

Isabelle’s eyes widened at Johnny’s suggestion, nodding excitedly as she then followed his lead, trying her hardest to suppress her giggles. On the count of three she jumped with him, tackling his middle body. “Merry Christmassss!!” she screamed at the top of her lungs, giggling all the while. At his reaction, though, the brunette frowned. “Ughhh, come onnnn Freckles! It’s Christmas!! Time for presents!!” she exclaimed, shaking him from atop his body. “Don’t make me sing againnnn!” she warned, and then began singing at the top of her lungs, all between giggles of course. “Jingle Bells, Benji Smells, Moosie laaaidd an egggg! Freckles isss such a buzzkill, and he needs to wake up nowwwww! HEY!” The brunette erupted into a fit of giggles, before realizing he hadn’t woken up yet. “Uh ohhhh!” she chirped. “It’s timeee for the TICKLE MONSTER!!!!” Leaning over, the small girl brought her hands to his side, tickling him as much as she could. “Come onnnn Benjii!” she giggled. “It’s time to open presents!!”

Ok so I guess it's that time. I have to go on hiatus for about two weeks. Mid terms are next week and I have some other things going on right now that I really need to focus on. "What if I don’t rememba?" she said and held the baby, motioning for him to take her back.

  Ben smiled, “Morning beautiful. How’d you sleep?”

"Good, last night was great." She hummed.

After a moment Catherine shot up. “We left Georgia at my parents.”

Ben's eyes widened, "Oh my god we need to go get her."

  Ben nodded, “She does,” he whispered. “You had her when you were in the coma. That’s why.”

Catherine looked up at Ben with tear filled eyes. “Why don’t I rememba ya then….I….I’m so confused.”

  -the next mroning- Ben woke up the next day to find Catherine laying next to him. He smiled and brushed some hair out of her face, kissing her nose. “I love you so much.”

Catherine smiled at his touch and opened her eyes. “I love ya too, Benny.”

  "Of course," he said going out to the waiting room and getting Georgia from Johnny. He came back into the room and laid her in Catherine’s arms. "This is our babygirl Georgia."

Catherine took the baby in her arms and was shocked when she looked down at her. “She…she looks just like me…” She continued to stare down at her. She rubbed her finger across the baby’s cheek. “Ya would think I would rememba havin’ a daughta….”

Ben nodded, "She does," he whispered. "You had her when you were in the coma. That's why."

  Ben backed away, his eyebrows knit together. He sighed sadly, a frown cover his face. “O-… okay Caty I’ll leave you alone.”

"Wait-" Catherine said giving a sigh. "Can I..can I see tha baby?"

"Of course," he said going out to the waiting room and getting Georgia from Johnny. He came back into the room and laid her in Catherine's arms. "This is our babygirl Georgia."

  "No Catherine stop," he said, going over and picking her up, taking her back to the hospital bed. "You need to rest."

"No, don’t touch me." She said squirming in his arms. "Yeah, maybe I am ya wife. But that was tha past. I. Don’t. Know. Ya…I’m sorry. But….I don’t even know who ya are. How am I supposed ta act right now with this stranga in my…hospital room?"

  Nodding Ben picked her up and carried her to their room. He kicked the door closed and laid her on the bed, never breaking their kiss.

The whole way to the room Catherine had her hand weaved in with his hair. When he laid her on the bed she smiled into the kiss as she worked his shirt off. “What was our first time like?” she whispered.
