These are some of the characters featured in a large map project created for @thesourcepark ‘the world’s largest underground skatepark’. I recently had to revamp the map that I completed of the park from a couple years back as the facility has undergone some BIG changes and @thecourtyardhastings has been added to the complex. There is so much detail in this project that you don’t get to see on screen, it will be displayed as a large mural style print on site at the park. I thoroughly recommend visiting for a skate or ride or just to watch and have some food and drink in the courtyard which is a wonderful place. Some details From a map project for Bishopstone Station in East Sussex that I’m wrapping up today. It should be up in the train station soon and I hope it brings some joy and tourist information to those visiting the area. I like the challenges that come with creating illustrated maps, you have to be true to the land that you’re representing whilst still intending to create something that looks aesthetically pleasing. Another illustration from a recent project with @britishcouncil as part of their DICE programme (Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies). I produced a series of illustrations that reflect on their approach to building creative communities across the world and different cultures. Both through meeting in person and via technology.
