Upcoming Fall 2016 Anime: All Out!! It may still be a while til the Rugby/ American Football anime airs, but recently it was announced that it will have 25 episodes so we can expect a more serious story here. The slogan on the posted read literally: "Here, anyone can play the leading role." Which would imply that the anime will highlight the importance of a team in the game, rather than focusing on an individual. The synopsis so far confirms this interpretation, going as follows: In Rugby, there is no Ace Striker and there is no No.4 Batter, so who is the star of the team? The story begins at school entrance ceremony of Kanagawa High School where Kenji Gion, a small but gutsy go-getter joins the rugby club. I think we can expect something interesting here, apart from the usual sports anime themes like getting along with you teammates, winning the nationals etc, etc. In terms of the cast, we can so far expect: Shōya Chiba as Kenji Gion Yūto Adachi as Sumiaki Iwashimizun Yoshimasa Hosoya as Takuya Sekizann Ryota Ohsaka as Mutsumi Hachiōji Also, notice how many Japanese titles like having those two exclamation marks in their titles? Anime: Assassination Classroom season 2 Ah, nothing sweeter than a deadly middle school assassin blushing after being praised. So, Karma fans, looks like you finally got the spotlight you were awaiting because I think it's fair to say that Karma was the shining star of this episode. It sure is nice to see someone just a liiiittle overpowered show the 'bad guys' who's the boss. And the underlying clash of ideologies this episode was interesting, focusing on either power, control and individual abilities vs solidarity cooperation and the power of the many. It sure was presented in an interesting way too. And what did you guys think of this episode? Will Karma take the first place in the character polls this week due to these events? Upcoming Summer 2016 Anime: Cheer Boys!! Ever felt like sports anime weren't enough? Ever felt like you wanted to see some proper cheerleading action to motivate the players rather than the actual game? Ever felt like you needed an all-male cast for that? Well, boy, I sure hope the answer to those question is a triple yes because that's exactly what we'll be getting. And I must say - I'm hyped. I'm always down for sports anime and cheerleading sounds like something so original that it'd be interesting even if the execution was poor. The anime will also be based on a novel (not a light novel, as far as I'm aware) which is another rather unique feature. In terms of the cast, we are so far sure to see: Yūki Yonai as Haruki Bandō Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kazuma Hashimoto Yuuki Ono as Shō Tokugawa And so far, that's looking good. 9/10 it is not a perfect one but its probably the most enjoyable show this season. The best part was the first half, those episodes thrilled and gave me so many feels. I know most people talk about how it become shitty at the end coz the anime did skipped some of the important parts which is very crucial to the story. Despite of that I know for sure in myself this anime will take a new spot in my most favorite anime list and this very reason is enough for me to say that it did a good job overall.
