Dear No One
Last year I wrote a collection of poetry and prose dedicated to people, real and fictional. A collection of “letters”, perhaps, that don’t have a destination, or that I don’t want to reach their destination. I announced this collection with the name Dear No One: A Collection of Words For No One in Particular in June last year, and since then I’ve been trying to gather the funds to publish it the “right” way. Now, more than a year later and with a new name, Dear No One: A Collection of Words Unsaid will be released on October 11th 2022.
I compromised a little to make the money I had raised work for now, and I am confident that it was the right choice. Mostly, I want to step forward from this part of my writing history and move forward with whatever is next. The writing in this collection is years old now and I am ready to move on from the state of mind that the poems come from. Whatever that means you can make up for yourself.
Thank you to everyone who might have stuck around while I went missing for months and months. I can’t wait for you all to finally get your hands on this project that I love very dearly.
