After watching Your Name Engraved Herein, I picked up the novelization out of curiosity, and I’m so glad I did. I’m only halfway through, but the reading experience so far has been completely different yet equally satisfying.

The book contains deleted/cut scenes, and the narrative jumps around less. There’s more context to some scenes that I found confusing in the film, and the perspective is relatively omniscient.

I’m translating the novelization for fun and for language practice. If anyone is interested in reading my amateur fan-translation though, let me know and I’ll figure out how to share it!
