heres my latest reorchestration, this time from morrowind. its a bit of a challenge to fit morrowind into this series because it is already in the style, but i made enough changes that i think this is an interesting rendition of a beautiful piece. if you enjoy, please do the youtube things and share so more people can see it!

Tamriel Reorchestrated, a series imagining early Elder Scrolls themes as modern symphonic scores in the style of later Elder Scrolls music,

Tamriel Reorchestrated

tamriel reorchestrated is my project to revitalize the older tes soundtracks like arena, daggerfall, battlespire, redguard, and a little bit of morrowind, and reorchestrate the music as if it were written for later games. no ai is used at all in the creation of this music.

I've always loved the music of the elder scrolls and i started this project because i started getting deeper into the older games. i was amazed at the compositions of early tes, especially those by eric heberling. i would consider him to be the bach of elder scrolls music because of how perfect and carefully constructed his music is. but because of its midi rendition, most people dont hear it. since i had been recently rejected from the skywind project, i decided to take matters in my own hands and create arrangements of this music in the skyrim style.

right now there are 18 reorchestrated tracks. once i get to 20 im going to release them as an album on my youtube as well on streaming servinces, and a mod for skyrim and morrowind that would add new music to the various exploration playlists. im unsure how many tracks will be on the album release because i of course want to abide by copyright law, and many of these soundtracks never having an official release makes that complicated. regardless, the album will come out in late august or early september

occasionally ill reorchestrate music from other games in this style too, like firelink shrine and the majula theme from dark souls. or ill reorchestrate the redguard theme in john william's style. maybe these will become bonus tracks available on bandcamp, im not sure yet. thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this!

hello, im bentheduelist and i decided to introduce myself on tumblr. i'm a professional saxophonist and composer specializing in fantasy music, jazz fusion, classical, and variety of other genres and blends. i'm currently interning with eric heberling, composer of the original elder scrolls series, working on orchestration for the wayward realms as well as a project for bethesda game studios. im composing music for an in progress indie called lantern of the laughless saint as well

my most recent project is Tamriel Reorchestrated, which includes orchestral rearrangements of daggerfall and other early elder scrolls music aiming to sound as if they were in later games such as morrowind, oblivion, or skyrim. i've also released Ancient Scrolls, a concept OST imagining what The Elder Scrolls VI might sound like if set in Hammerfell.
