I’ve been thinking about complexity and creativity recently. The universe is a complexity machine. Nature, even our own minds, and what we create as well are a result of simple algorithms (the laws of physics) are run in a particular substrate (the universe). The universe started with nothing but hydrogen and that hydrogen eventually becomes us. Very simple building blocks can result in endless emergent, and impossible to predict, complexity. So I thought to myself, what if I apply that to art. For the last few months I have been making my simple building blocks (many more than I have posted).
