(Little spoiler for those who haven’t played the game or haven’t watched anyone play it.)

I know saving Arcadia Bay isn’t really a fan favorite choice in the “Life Is Strange” fandom, but it’s the most moral option out of the two. Plus, Chloe was telling Max to let her go so that they could save everyone, and get justice for what happened to Rachel Amber.

What makes me sad in this ending is that no one, other than Max, had a clue on what kind of sacrifice Chloe did to prevent the town from being destroyed. It also pains me seeing her mother, Joyce, completely devastated about losing her only child a few years after her husband, William, passed away. It’s also tragic that Chloe died thinking no one loved or cared for her. There were definitely people that did, especially Max and Rachel.

As heartbreaking as it is to lose her, it gives me peace that Chloe was reunited with her father William, her cat Bongo and Rachel.

Plus, this ending was written better in my opinion. The song choice was *chef’s kiss*
