Okay, hi let’s talk about my retreat from the world of Tumblr! 🙂↕️
First off thanks anon for the excitement around my story and to everyone else who found it and loved it over the last year+
When I wrote that story I never intended the amount of attention it would get. And when I said I had a part 2 in the works I did! I started it and got like 3,000 words plus into it…. And then fell into a huge depression and anxiety hole that sucked me out of life for a bit. But your girl is medicated and in therapy and doing better. I have a break coming up from work starting next week and I will try to get back into writing it to see if I can finish it. I’m still really passionate about the story and have all my notes and writings for it saved.
Some fun tidbits about part two to show good faith and get you excited!
- part 2 has always been planned to start in Steve’s POV so we can learn why he did what he did, and see his side of the heartbreak.
- I saw some comments wondering about the upside down and if that plays into things. I am not afraid to admit I didn’t even envision this world as being upside down adjacent. So, no upside down wreaking havoc on anyone!
- in my note to myself about part two I put, ‘fall is going to be sad girl season for Steve. He didn’t take the summer to process the breakup but now he will. We will see some regression from Steve. Steve will feel heartbreak’. 😌
- I cannot write anything short and so I imagine the word count for this will be similar to part 1.
- Finally, we are going to have a happy ending… or at least that’s my plan and that’s the way I intend it will go. We shall see where we end up.
Anyway, that’s all for now! I will get back to writing next week! If you need asked me to tag you I did keep track of that and will do my best to catch everyone that asked.
