“Before I do this, I need you to know that I have always loved you,” Jughead says from the passenger seat just as Betty cuts the truck’s engine off and shifts so that she’s facing him fully. He’s fidgeting with the hem of his flannel shirt and staring out the window, his eyes fixed on the red door that Betty used to call hers when she still called Riverdale home. “In case I don’t make it out alive.”

He finally turns to meet her gaze, bottom lip worried between his teeth. She leans forward and cups his cheek lovingly before smoothing her hand down to his lap to catch his fingers.

“I know, and you’re going to be alright,” she replies in what she hopes is a soothing voice that doesn’t betray her amusement.

What I say: Riverdale has some major plot holes

What I mean: It's been 183 days since 2x04 when Dilton STABBED HIMSELF IN THE LEG and now we're on 2x20 but this event has NEVER been addressed. In fact, not only has the stabbing never been discussed, but Dilton's existence has been seemingly wiped from the show: no one went to visit him in the hospital and no one has mentioned him being absent/his condition since. Everything that happened in that episode was completely glossed over and ignored in every subsequent episdoe. Is Dilton even real? Characters like Fred and Moose get out of the hospital in DAYS but it's been maybe MONTHS since Dilton was last heard from. Where is he? Where is Dilton? GIVE HIM TO ME.
