EDF West Burton, Graphics & Illustrated Mural

I’m happy to be able to share some pics of some large scale wall graphics and an illustrated mural I worked on for the latest EDF visitor centre at West Burton. Working with specialist 'design & build' company Amalgam Modelmaking, the project was created as a new look addition to EDF’s UK wide list of centres. I recently finished a series of Ice Age interpretation panels for Kents Cavern prehistoric caves, in Devon. The panels were designed for a woodland trail - forming part of an Ice Age animal hunt at the caves, and feature silhouette illustrations of the various animals found during that period. Ensia Magazine Winter 2015

It was great to be asked to illustrate the cover for the Winter 2015 edition of Ensia Magazine. Ensia is a beautifully designed and written publication, showcasing environmental solutions in action. Powered by the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota.

The illustration was based on the article "The end and the beginning of the Arctic" by Edward Struzik, which talks about the increasing evidence that "the Arctic we know is coming to an end, and that a new and very different Arctic is taking over."

TASCHEN Illustration Now! 5

I was really chuffed some time ago now when TASCHEN invited me to feature in their Illustration Now! 5 book, and this weekend I received my copy through the post! I have always been a fan of these books which have provided a wealth of inspiration and aspiration. Now seeing my own work amongst these pages of wonderful illustrators feels kind of strange!

Fragmented Nature Exhibition

"Fragmented Nature" is a new exhibition of my artwork, on show at the Paper Gallery in Bristol from the 5 - 11th August.

The exhibition will include a range of original artworks and affordable prints and the Private View will be on the 5th August from 6 - 8pm, so if you can make it, it would be great to see you there!
