I just started reading War of the Spark. Right at the beginning, it reveals that Niv-Mizzet has somehow died off-screen. Then soon after it mentions Ral and Kaya as guildmasters of Izzet and Orzhov, and it feels like we're already supposed to have known that, but I've read all the previous stories and those things haven't happened yet. I stopped reading then because it felt like I was looking at part 2 and I haven't seen part 1 yet. What am I missing?
Read the Guilds of Ravnica and Ravnica Allegiance stories by Django Wexler.
Women now make up 12.3% of those serving as military observers and staff officers with @unpeacekeeping missions - up from 7.8% a year ago.

Am I the only one who thinks cats in white is kind of inaccurate? Green, I get, due to nature and beasts and whatnot, but cats tend to be pretty selfish animals, so shouldn't they be in black more than in white? Or is it because rats are in black and are natural prey to cats so cats have to be white? Or am I wrapping myself in knots too much?
Domesticated animals tend to fall to white. There are some Cats in black though.
Proud, selfish, cruel - very black. I think we just have to imagine cats act differently in the multiverse than on Earth.
“Let us focus on the overwhelming positives of migration and use facts, not prejudice, to address its challenges.
Migration is a positive global phenomenon. It powers economic growth, reduces inequalities, connects diverse societies and helps us ride the demographic waves of population growth and decline.”
– United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, January 2018.

In Liberia, less than 10% of the population has access to electricity. Women solar engineers are pioneering efforts to provide affordable and clean energy by installing and managing solar lamps in their communities.
Rural Liberian women, trained as solar engineers by Barefoot College in India, with support from UN Women, are promoting renewable solar energy that reduces dependency on expensive and polluting fossil fuels, like kerosene. The solar lamps are lighting villages and communities, enabling longer work and study hours, and bringing greater security to many, especially at night time.

“When you vote, think of your grandchildren. They can’t vote but your decisions are going to affect their lives. One thing we know: if we don’t deal with climate change now, we are going to ruin many of their chances to have a positive life. So think about your grandchildren is my advice”. – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on how people can take climate action.

Growing greener cities has never been easier.
Leafy vegetables, tubers and herbs grown in simple containers in small spaces like balconies and rooftops can help low-income families meet their daily needs for fresh, nutritious produce.
Micro-gardens are part of urban and peri-urban agriculture which is the growing of plants and raising of animals in and around cities.
The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) is helping governments and organizations to improve their policies to support urban and peri-urban agriculture.

End extreme poverty. Fight inequality and injustice. Fix climate change…
The Sustainable Development Goals are important, world-changing objectives that will require cooperation among governments, international organizations and world leaders. It seems impossible that the average person can make an impact. Should you just give up?
No! Change starts with you! Every human on earth—even the most indifferent, laziest person among us—is part of the solution. Fortunately, there are some super easy things we can adopt into our routines that, if we all do it, will make a big difference.
We’ve made it easy for you and compiled just a few of the many things you can do to make an impact.

So, what is the mechanical difference between flip and transform? Is it just the use of a different word?
There are some technical differences mechanically. Ask Tabak.
