If I put an art sticker on a card, does that make me the artist of the card? Art Appreciation suggests that placing an art sticker creates new art.

It does not unless you were the artist of the sticker.

I am saddened that the tippy tor squirrel card exists. It's great. It's a fit for a deck I have. But it's Marvel so I can't. Have you guys abandoned the UW reprints idea?

I am in full support in players prioritizing what matters to them. I can just say that no matter what we design, we’re going to make cool, fun to play cards, so opting out of some subset of cards, whatever that subset might be, is going to mean missing out on some cool cards.

Sauron is going to be my first mono green deck. Well done everyone who worked on him! I look forward to not curing cancer.

Hey Maro, can I share that I dont like flavour words because they feel condescending? It feels, like, "and this cawd has a twagic backstowy," I can put together the flavour, and it comes off very unconfident and smug. I might be alone though, so can this post serve as a chance for people to share thoughts on flavour words?

Hi Mark, I just wanted to say I've been enjoying the Marvel Super Heroes previews so much! There are numerous evocative and dynamic card designs in the main set, the Jumpstart set and the Commander decks. It's so freaking awesome and very hype inducing. I'm particularly intrigued by how many new cards cover unexplored or underutilized mechanical design space (i.e. Silver Surfer, Cosmic Voyager, Wasp, Shrinking Savior, Speedball, New Warrior, Storm, Windrider) even after 30+ years of designs. I've been playing Magic for about 15 years and I'm struggling to recall a set with this many mechanically unique designs that make me say "oh, wow, I don't think they've ever done anything like this before" and that makes me so happy to see. Perhaps that is a value add of Universes Beyond sets (they lead to the creation of so many top down designs based on specific and long established lore and flavor). I had high expectations for this set but they are still being exceeded despite that. I can tell you and your team and the scores of people involved into making this set a reality put an immense amount of time, energy, heart and effort. I can't wait to play the Limited environment. I can't wait to build and brew Commander decks around all of these new cards. I can't wait to slot in new cards with my existing decks. I'm so pleased to see a new 4 color commander. I'm so impressed by the artwork, the flavor text, the Wakanda representation and so much more! Kudos to you and your team for making something special. Your hard work is paying off and is definitely recognized. Be sure that you and your team celebrate each other and treat yourself to something grand that brings you joy. That is what you deserve for accomplishing something so ambitious and fantastic!

The handoff article for MSH mentions a typed up list of character priority. I know it won't be for years, but can we get the full list after/at the final Marvel set's release? Seeing how deep you got in tier 4s would be fun

is there a problem with reprinting a set wholesale just as it was on release? why not completely reprint khans of tarkir or battlebond? theyd sell

Why do welcome decks contain new, mechanically unique cards? They are ostensibly intended for new players, but this choice creates a huge demand for them from enfranchised players

The number one goal of welcome decks is to make the best optimal experience for the new player. To do that, we often need to make cards catered to the needs of those decks.

Did the Council of Colors sign off on Sauron being a mono-green flyer? If so, why?

Green is tertiary in flying. It does get it on occasion.
