With the travel involved and how my life is, I just want to be as committed as I can be first, you know? I know I can do the patience and care, I just need to make sure everything else is good with me. Hard agree about the love and comfort.

Tiktok videos, honestly. The scrolling got to me. I’ve also wanted a cat but not sure I’m ready for it yet.

Cats are absolutely beautiful pets and don't require a whole lot of your time or attention. Especially compared to other pets like dogs. Although if you're fostering older ones you might need more patience and care depending on their situation.

I support people caring for older pets, though. They deserve to have some love and comfort for their remaining days.

I was on a date once where the girl started talking about how much she hated small dogs and how yappy and annoying and pretentious they were because someone walking "one of those rat dogs" past us where we were sitting at the cafe.

The dog was the same breed as Cherry.
