The Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes, James Vowles and Jenson Button were together today on a Conference for Atlassian Team’ 25 Event, and the CEO took the time to tell an anecdote about how impressed he was by Carlos attitude on Australia:

“Netflix and cameras are all gone, no one cares anymore in that side of garage. And I saw Carlos walk in, he went to every single member of his pit crew, one by one, thanked each of them. That’s the classiest move I’ve seen someone do.”

And James Vowles saying how Carlos is above all a TEAMPLAYER

“That’s Carlos. Carlos in the moment of it, the team is bigger than him and he wanted the team to be successful above himself. That’s extraordinary, and that’s what he’s all about”

Today marked one of the grimmest days in the history of American diplomacy.

Trump and Vance really put the tyrant in tantrum, didn't they? Pathetic. Weak, cowardly, sniveling little bullies is all that they are.

I understand that I'm just one person who voted against all of this. I understand that this is just my Tumblr thingy. I understand that when the history of this is written, I will not even be a footnote.

But it is still important to me to go on the public record: The way Trump and Vance treated the President of Ukraine was despicable. It was a betrayal of an ally that is fighting for its very existence. As an American, I am disgusted with the rulers of my country. I am disgusted with their supporters, who ought to be ashamed of themselves.

To the people of Ukraine, I am so sorry. 75 million of us did everything we could to stop this. but there is a white supremacist cancer in America's blood, and the 2024 election confirmed that it has metastasized. For what it's worth, I stand with you, as I stand against the tyrants who disrespected your president today.

Zelensky showed a lot of restraint. He was definitely the adult in the room.

I would have at least slapped Trump and Vance before walking out. That would have been even better TV (like WTF?!?).

World leaders need to shut the US out of everything. Sane countries don’t negotiate with madmen.

In case you still need convincing this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump and Vance are Russian agents acting on Russias behalf. Call every rep you can - blue or red - and tell them you are disgusted by Trumps behavior and that you want them to condemn it and do all they can to support Ukraine.

I remembered the first time I interested in F1 was because that video of the handsome Ferrari mechanic over a year ago (iirc I saw this before the Canadian GP 23). Tried to find out more about him, and apparently he is Charles' mechanic. And that's why I started to support Ferrari (because of the handsome mechanic and driver, yes I know that stupid.)

At first, I supported both Ferrari's drivers equally. But weirdly enough, later I'm more interested in Carlos than Charles. During the Austrian GP 23, I remembered there was a comment from Charles about Carlos that made me sad (because you know, I'm also a Charlos fan), and that was the first time I found out about Lecfosi and their hatred towards Carlos.

Then Monza 23 happened. I didn't watch the last part of the race because I was so scared that Carlos gonna lose the podium place. I was really mad that he fought Carlos that hard when he even didn't put much effort against Checo just because he wanted to save his tyres so he can attack Carlos later, and by doing that getting the podium place in Monza.

I'm so glad Singapore happened. I remembered everyone praise Carlos for his brilliant strategy, but you know what? Turns out Fred and Charles down playing that win and said thanks to Charles that he won in Singapore. I mean, yes, thank you for your help in the first part of the race, but after the safety car when you dropped to fifth place (lap 20 iirc), it was all on Carlos. Especially when the Mercedes came in with fresh medium.

This year supposed to be my first full year following F1. I remembered I hoped Carlos would get that contract extension. But then Lewis happened. And now all of these. Can believe he talked like that about Carlos' home race when just a few weeks ago all he wants is just to win in Monaco.

All I can say is that I'm glad Carlos will leave that toxic team. I hope he can get a competitive car next season, but even if it didn't happen, I just hope he can get a team that will love him and appreciate him for all his talent and effort.

Ps. I know it's hard for Carlos to get a WDC. But I really hope Lando can get it first before Charles.

People baffle me. Right after Trump's conviction I heard so many people saying "Jesus was condemned in a rigged trial too". There is a huge difference between an itinerant hippy preaching peace and love and a war-mongering, self-aggrandizing dictator. Why can't people see that?
