The only way to fight sin is to choose something bigger.

“Why do you love me?” “Because I have no choice.” He said with a sigh Her wry smile turned to a frown as she frantically attempted to let go of his hand. He calmly pat her in the head before continuing… “Like how the rain helplessly falls to kiss the earth. How the waves can’t resist coming back to hug the shore. I have no choice, it is my very nature to love you. My mind filled with holes so it drowns oh so easily in the depths of your eyes. My heart molded like a flute so it always sings your name. My soul hollowed out so it would always seek you as if you’re the only thing in this world that can fill it. I have no choice when every inch of my being is drawn to your perfections.” He glanced at her birth mark and smiled, “and to your imperfections.” “Because love” he held her chin and slowly leaned forward “the first time my lips pressed on yours I decided there will never be a better choice”.

Since I was young, I have always known this: Life damages us, every one. We can’t escape that damage. But now, I am also learning this: We can be mended. We mend each other.
Veronica Roth, Allegiant (via themotivationjournals)
Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts of you that are broken, out of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect, is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room.

some days you will grow , some days you will be in the same place , some days you will have a setback , It’s okay , it doesn’t mean you are going backwards , it’s doesn’t change your progress .

One of the things that really strengthened my relationship with Jesus was that, while everyone else came and went, He stayed. He always stayed.

For a long time it was all about how far I could run away form everything and finding an escape but now it's more about finding the person you created me to be and catching freedom along the way.
Today marks a journey of something that scares me. That once again puts me in the only position to place my life in the center of Gods hands and say "I trust you." Never in a million years would I think this could ever become a possibility for me. This my friends is what life looks like when you allow God to be lord over all. He takes your hand and makes dreams become reality.
Christianity isn’t about whether it works out for you, but how God can work through you.
J.S. Park (via jspark3000)
It still astounds me how someone can look at the stars or the veins in a leaf or just how complex human bodies are and still not believe in God. There’s no way all this could be pure coincidence formed by an explosion of space dust
It’s like, it doesn’t honor God to pretend like everything is OK. That’s the beauty of Jesus that so many people miss. The beauty is that he died on the cross for our sins, but also that he existed the way we exist. He understands what it’s like to lose a friend. He’s not unfamiliar with those emotions. He’s not unfamiliar with the difficulty of human life. To me that’s what makes Jesus as God beautiful. He totally understands. He went out of his way to prove to us that he understands our situation. So when he has something to say, it’s not coming from this high and lofty standpoint. It’s coming from this person who understands intricately the perils of human existence.
