It started as a joke by putting one of my existing characters into mewgenics univers, but now she's like a fan boss lmao
Below are the names of the jockeys and their horses
•Bernadette is called "the lieutenant" because she is in charge of all the jockeys, although there is a big difference between her and the others. All the jockeys and their horses became one organism, feeling each other's pain and needs, but maintaining their individuality, Bernadette is an exception. She's technically just a ghost (there's a little more about this below) that controls the armor, so she's the only one who can get off the horse and she also looks after the rest of the team (cleans horses, monitors their health, etc.)
•On the splash art I've arranged them in the order in which they patrol the streets, looking for something to "hunt" (usually they're simply chasing down a survivor or hunting mutants, but if they encounter Bombgiorno, they'll engage in combat).
•All jockeys are mutants/undead, while Bernadette is a ghost from King Arthur's time who has taken control of someone else's body. So, their current age:
Robert - 48; Stanford - 31; Gustavo - 37; Reginald - 27; Margaret - 42 and Bernadette is... about 1,500 years old. 🫡
•Robert has no lower jaw and communicates via a radio on his chest. How? Who knows, maybe by the Holy Spirit.
•Gustavo looks the most human of all, but there's no humanity in him. Instead of words, he makes animalistic sounds like growls, squeals, snorts, and barks.
•Stanford only opens his mouth when necessary. More precisely, someone would need to unzip his mouth. Gustavo trained him to be afraid to unzip it on his own.
•Reginald was muzzled by Gustavo because he tried to use his teeth to help himself off his horse.
•Margaret peeled off her own skin when it began to melt from the radiation. She did this deliberately to expose her teeth and look more intimidating. (This scared Stanford so much that he started looking for ways to cover his face and... well...)
• Margaret and Gustavo like to play hoofball together. They stand with their backs to someone (human, animal, teammate—it doesn't matter) and take turns kicking them until the victim falls.
• Shehmed is a modified form of checkmate.
• Rhaegal is the name of a dragon from Game of Thrones and Ashley... well, from the word ash (their jockeys are immune to fire, so they fight up close with Bernadette. The back row is the ranged fighters.)
•Gustavo was a horse trainer for the police. Volunteer is afraid of him.
•Reginald didn't know how to handle horses and blamed their temperament for it. Because of him, Mercy became aggressive.
• Minister is blind and deaf.
I started by collecting references for the horses, and then came up with a rider for each one.
