Blackout

The power went out in my room. Everything goes dark. Everything. My computers, all three of them. Video game consoles, all three of them. My speakers all three of them. My screens all six of them. All the lights, but really just the one I keep on. The AC, and the old stagnant LA air creeps in. The only thing I can see is my phone, it only shows the time, OLED screen. When the power goes out the world gets dark like it always was, I just don't know it's dark anymore at night.

The modern age is weird because I think it's bright at night, but the truth is I just live in darkness. Had a weird dream last night, every bit of technology I have broke, vape fell and shattered, both my cars were crashed, computers were destroyed. My phone was lost. I had nothing, or at least that's how I was supposed to feel, but I felt liberated, scared but liberated.
