⚔ ⸻ ( peter gadiot → cis man → he/him ) / / * seems like SAMUEL SANCHEZ , crossed the city limits into rome : you know , the  thirty-eight / 38 year old WEREWOLF , who is reputed to be HONORABLE and ADVENTUROUS , but is avoided when they are TENSE and FERAL . rumor has it that has been heard saying ❝ THERE’S NO POINT IN SAVING THE WORLD IF IT MEANS LOSING THE MOON. ❞ . that would explain why  THEY DO NOT CARE for the mortal instruments .

Samuel aka Sam as he likes to be called, hails from Dallas, Texas. He was originally a thief who ran in very small circles -- most of them being werewolves themselves but didn't have an actual pack. Catching heat, he decided to get out of town for a little while only to end up in Rome where the Nightshade pack took him in. Turns out he fit pretty well and never left. Any trouble he gets into, it's pretty easy to get himself out of because he rarely leaves the pack. It's left him somewhat feral and tense to be around people that aren't the Nightshade pack.

THEIR LAND WAS GREAT -- considering the number of Nightshade pack members were just as great if not more. You could call them full of shit and full of themselves but they simply adapted, finding a place to exist completely as they were. That didn't mean that they didn't occasionally get the wanderer, finding the need to patrol their edges occasionally... now more so that the mortal instruments were missing. Stolen, it seemed. It's how he found her there, cornered by a shadowhunter who demanded information out of her. "Hey now, Creeper." Sam spoke as he neared them, "You're on Nightshade property. If you want to harass her, you'll have to wait until she leaves. You know, the law and all that." His head tilted, noting another werewolf nearby who waited for some sort of signal.

WHERE : ... ⸻ downworlder's bar . WITH : open to anyone.

 The bar is hundreds of conversations told in loud voices , all of them competing with the music that dominates the atmosphere . The crowd is a mixture of old and young , those that were far older than they looked for the most part . Alessa , who had the sight , winds her way through the warm bodies to order a drink and take her seat . it wasn't rare to see mundanes in that bar . albeit some that wander in  are never seen again once they mix with the wrong crowd .

        ❝ ⸻ wow , you could really feel the tension in the air . ❞ eyes scanned the crowd . the group with odd tattoos on them staring intensely at another group across the room .

PEOPLE WERE SO FUCKING NOISY IT WASN'T FUNNY. The first real perk of finally having a pack was that werewolves knew that. Their ears could be sensitive to noise, finding it hard to focus untrained senses. Sure, he had worked on it but it was easier to focus on specifics now like the woman who took the free seat beside him. "I don't know about you but it's hilarious to me," Sam admitted, eyes full of a mischievous glint. "They've," his head nodded toward the tatted group, "always have a stick up their asses and now they're making it everyone's problem."

“  are  you  looking  for  something  ?  ”  he’d  not  been  to  rome  in  years,  and  only  once  prior  to  this,  but  still,  jordan  knew  the  city  enough.  the  wolf  wasn’t  helpful  by  nature,  but  he  was  curious.  it  told  a  lot  about  someone  how  they  reacted  to  an  offer  of  help.  besides,  he  could  practically  smell  the  city  crawling  with  down  worlders.  it  made  jordan  more  prone  to  speaking  to  strangers  purely  out  of  interest.  he  hated  socializing  otherwise.

WHO'D THINK A WEREWOLF LIKE HIM COULD THRIVE IN A PLACE LIKE THIS? Certainly not Sam the more or less former thief. It did help that the stray finally found a pack he could exist with. Normally he wouldn't be out in the city like this much less alone but maybe he strived in chaos; enjoying the fact that shadowhunters were losing their minds looking for the mortal instruments and Sam couldn't care less. "If you can point me in the direction of a good drink, sure, other wise no."
