Artist’s statement:

“A personal documentary photographic project about my relationship and feelings for an isolated, sparsely populated island in the North Atlantic. It is a series that was born out of an obsession. Obsession with a place, its people and surroundings. An obsession with Iceland. 

The project has been done over a time period of six years, during which I traveled to Iceland five times. I am now working on turning the series into an exhibition and a book, to be out in 2018.“
