“Jack. Jack just let me.”         He was aware he was being slightly childish,         but he didn’t care.

With a sigh, he smiles, and lets Ryan drape on him. Patting the elder’s back, he decides it isn’t like he was busy.

“...Alright. Why are you all affectionate all of a sudden?”

[ He smiles, somewhat sadly. ] “As well as one could be. Fears within the kingdom are taking a longer time to quell than I had hoped. They’ve worried themselves into a paranoia with bandit activity increasing. It’s been… keeping me awake, but that’s to be expected.”

[Worried little frown] “I’m sorry to hear that- I not it’s not easy, especially with all the neighboring kingdoms so tense as well... everyone’s being affected. But not getting enough sleep is never a good thing. Is there anything I can do?”

“I don’t mind it at all, Jack.” [ Sits up fully, moving his tie to the other side of him to not let it get crushed. ] “It’s nice to see you.”

“I hoped you wouldn’t”. [Sighs, stretching, and lies down next to him. It is very relaxing. He needed this.] “As it is to see you. It’s been too long. How are you?”

[ Turns his head to look to Jack, smiling. Sits up on his elbows. ] “I am, actually. The weather’s been warm, the grass is cool. Seemed to be the right thing to do, to be honest.”

[Carefully sits beside him] “You’re not wrong. It’s a beautiful day for it, for sure. But I couldn’t help thinking you could use some company. If you don’t mind, that is”.

[ His arms are out, pulling at his tie until it comes undone, letting it drop to the side and unbuttons his collar, sword sheathed and laying beside him, sprawling out with a sigh. ]

[Quietly approaches, tilting his head, and hums, taking in this whole picture. Well then. Smiles, and shakes his head.] “Comfy enough, Your Majesty?”
