Bio:
Born in Mystic Falls 1840, Damon was the oldest of the Salvatore boys, always being labelled a disappointment by his father. In 1864, Damon was shot along with his brother, Stefan and died moments later. It was their father who pulled the trigger all because they tried to save a vampire.
A few hours later both boys woke up in transition, result of Katherine’s blood being in their system. Damon was forced to complete this transition, all because Stefan didn’t want to be alone. But Damon swore an eternity of misery, since he was bitter over Katherine also turning Stefan.
Damon has spent his vampire life on and off the track, he’s had his good moments, his kind moments and his brutal moments. Even going so far as to make a name for himself as ‘The Son of Sam’, he’s always told people he isn’t the good brother and genuinely doesn’t believe he is.
Damon spent 145 years searching for a way to get Katherine out the tomb, only to discover the woman he loved and waited for wasn’t there. This broke his heart into pieces, but instead of turning off his emotions, he picked himself up and got back on the horse.
Skipping to the present, Damon now lives in Mystic Falls again, in the boarding house. After months of trying to steal Stefan’s girl, Elena, he succeeded and the two have had the summer of their lives. Damon loves Elena with everything he has in him, and would sooner die before he let anything happen to her.
Personality:
Damon is impulsive, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty if it means doing what needs to be done. The vampire also has some deep issues that have stemmed from a life of always being seen as the outcast, but he pushes this to the side and manages to smirk his way through the day. Damon is flirty, sarcastic and fun, always cracking jokes, which some people do not appreciate. Nevertheless, Damon cares deeply but only for a select two people, Stefan and Elena. To everyone else, he doesn’t care what they think about him.
